This is the first time, I've ever made a quilt. A close friend of mine is having a little girl, and both of us love already love the MLP:FIM show, so I decided to make her a MLP baby blanket/quilt. I thought using the cutie marks would be a fairly simple way to go about it, so I made a rough pattern of each cutie mark, and then cut them out of felt, and hand stitched most of them to each block. I got burned out with a few, and the big star and cloud were machine stitched. I finally finished it a few hours before the baby shower. As far as the binding and backing, I just used an orange cotton for the back, and cut it slightly bigger than the front. After I quilted the front to the back, I folded under the extra into a binding of sorts, and pinned and sewed it down.
Here it is, in its entirety.

And the individual blocks.

I really liked the way it turned out, and almost didn't want to give it away. Thanks for looking.
