I so wanted to try the little scottie block, so this morning I made one LOL

Have no idea what I am going to do with him, but he is cute.

The only problem I had was on one section I did sew it the wrong direction and have to rip and re do.

well and wonderment

114  Pink/Frogs Card Wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by carolmb on: August 25, 2013 03:41:38 PM
Greetings Everyone,

I took a break from quilting to make myself a card wallet. I had some amazing frog fabric that was also pink. I had been wanting to make myself something out of it and this seemed to be it.

I used this tutorial:
http://www.infarrantlycreative.net/2013/07/business-card-wallet.html

It was easy to follow and I didn't have any issues with it.

Came out cute I think. I made a few errors, but seeing how it is for myself and will be thrown in my purse I felt they were okay.

Here it is closed

Opened to show some of the card pockets

Thanks for looking, Not bad for the first time I have tired to make any type of wallet. Got a few more I wanna try as well.

well and wonderment

greetings,

Since I wasn't sure donniesgirl could get a mental image of what I was saying on the playing around with the blocks
I am added an image of a org. bird I have been playing around with in EQ7

I also have a frog one, been working on size and how to do about doing it. applique seems like the easiest. Not sure how I would break it them up for a paper piece

any thoughts?

Here is what happens when I don't shut my craft room door and I leave my scrape bin down on the floor. I come home to CJ(carol junior) taking a nap, then daring me to run her off.

LOL  Just thought it might make someone else smile

Greetings Everyone,

Seems we have lost funkyblkbird. Am sending good energy that all is well and she simply got busy.

Now I have three wonky, bright log cabin blocks that need a home, any takers?

I could make bags or something out of them, but well far to bright for me LOL.
