11  Meow in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by missingastitch on: August 21, 2011 03:21:56 PM
I made this by looking off a picture.  The pieces were simple which is why it is 3Dish compared to my last question about my pig.

Enjoy!

She is a little worn and wonky.  I had her sitting out for sometime and then attempted to add pink yarn whiskers only to damage her face slightly....

12  Red Bag and Yellow Wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by missingastitch on: August 21, 2011 12:38:01 PM
Here are two projects I finished earlier this week.  The bag is my first attempt at a bag. It came out alright.  The seams are very bulkly and some of the lines are uneven, but I am happy I pushed though it.

The yellow wallet took a few minutes and I ended up hand stitching the sides close with an overcast stitch.  The yellow flowered fabric on the inside is the same as the back/outside.

13  Cool find @ Joann Fabric in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by missingastitch on: August 19, 2011 12:16:20 AM
Was cruising the clearance section.  Love the clearance section.  Ran across this:

I have no use for quilting, but I like the fabric and I've been making wallets.

The clearance tag is faded but it was $19-something.  Not too bad if I say so myself.

Now I am trying to decide on how to coordinate these fabrics.  There is a giant red piece for the back of the quilt then you cut the squares out of the other colors.  Since I am out of solid colored fabric of any coordinating type I am wondering if I should go with the red it comes with.  Hmmm...

Anyway, enjoy.
