Thank you all for participating in this lovely swap! It made organizing for the first time so very easy and fun! I hope to see you all back in a month for possibly another round of prayer flags, or maybe something else! What lovely flags everyone made! I have mine proudly displayed in my formal living room/craft room! I couldn't bear to put them outside! At least not yet!
It will definitely not be right away... I am doing Wendiek's Spirit Doll swap and just signed up for the Twinchie Swap... and I am preparing something for the Craftster Needlework Challenge with the Monroe needlework pattern... so be sure to check out the entries starting on the 28th! And I am no where near finished with that! Also my Quilt Guild's 20th Anniversary luncheon is the second weekend of June... so probably after that! So look for it in the 3rd week of June!
Oh my goodness, I went ack a page and realized I never saw Averia's flags to Sharalee! They are beautiful! I love the fairy on the toadstool! They are beautiful flags!
Everyone has made the most beautiful flags! I can't wait to see what wendiek receives... I'm sad that our little swap is already coming to an end... But I will do another Prayer Flag swap next month I think and because I know how to do this organizing thing will open it up to multiple partners!
I really want to join, but I have a few questions first.... I did a lot of googling and checking pinterest.... But how do the edges not fray when using just cotton fabric... am I supposed to line it with interfacing? Or back it with felt? That's the only thing holding me back... I am so confused!
