I received from cmarion and she went above and didn't just send one flag but 2! She used the words "Bliss" and "Moments"
My word for the year is to be more blissful and you enjoy the moment!

Thank you so much for the flags! I love them! They are already hanging.

I received from pioneer9 this weekend! I would have posted but my family got infected with the flu horribly and I'm so doped up I'm finally feeling better enough to get online

Thank you I love it!
I had my husband mail one out on Saturday... Sorry for the day delay! On top of us all having the flu my in laws had flown in from out of state and ended up hanging out with all us in the house dying! Hoping were better soon!

4  Re: Christmas Stocking Swap! in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: December 18, 2015 09:49:41 AM
I received the most amazing package from Thimbles yesterday! It actually brought me to tears because it was so amazing!
This is what I was greeted with when I opened the box! And EVERY package had one of the fabric vintage tags on it!

Here is everything altogether! Seriously I was SPOILED!!! My husband came home and saw it all and is now wondering how he is going to beat that for my Christmas gift from him! The yellow mug in the photo I am currently drinking out of now as I post my photos! I LOVE it!

I used all the tags and pinned them on my table top tree I made the other day! It's like they were made for it! I didn't know how to decorate it and now I don't have to worry!

Due to HOW much she sent I decided it was easiest to put items in categories! Here is the sewn items! My stocking, and super fun reading lady art quilt/I'm sure I could use it as a placemat or table topper and a fun snowman mug rug! I do ALOT of reading and it is just perfect for me!

Here's the crocheted items! All from my pinterest! I actually wore the fingerless gloves to school this morning for drop off! The mug cozy was used on my starbucks cup too! And the Snowman, Elf, and Snail are a HUGE hit with my girls! They are gonna have to wrestle me for the snowman though! Crazy thing was I had just pulled all the yarn I was going to need to make one out of my stash! Now I can put it away! Ha, ha!

Here are the Yoga items! She made the awesome pouch from a picture I had on my pinterest and the pewter charms are just AMAZING! They are now on my dresser! I love looking at them! And Like I said the mug is already being used for my morning coffee and yesterday afternoon's cuppa tea! The company Basic Spirit that made the figurines is now one of my favorites! I've been on their website checking all their new stuff for next year!

And then... YES THERE WAS MORE!!! This lovely Reading Journal Log! I've really been wanting one to log how much I go through next year! And the C-3P0 ornament (which is already on my tree front and center). And the Lego creator Christmas tree poly bag! Seriously it was an awesome package!

I can't thank you enough and only hope you love my items as much as I love yours! Oh there was ALSO a awesome flower resin bracelet! I almost forgot it!

This is the awesome Halloween Owl that mamarose22 sent me! I love him! How did you know that in y living room I decorate primarily with owls for Fall?! I love him! and my older daughter is very jealous of him! I told her that we could share him and so he has been lovingly named "Owls" ... yeah not too creative with the name but he's perfect for my October/November decorating!!!

Thank you so much!

9  Quilted DC Comics Harley Quinn Journal Cover in Quilting: Completed Projects by CraftyMamaBee on: July 21, 2015 08:45:34 AM
My best friend turned 40 this year and her favorite character is Harley Quinn! Although she likes the newer version of Harley I can only seem to connect with the original that I saw on the Batman Cartoons as a kid and even this one is a little more "sexy" than the one I remember! Here is the cover I made for her!

I used my Cricut to make the screen printed Harley for the front. I think this is the best application I've had yet because of all the pressing I had to do while quilting it. I used heat n bond for the diamond appliques with blanket stitch on my sewing machine.

For the back I used my Cricut on Stabilizer to draw out the Harley head and then used my sewing machine to embroider it. Then I simply tore away the stabilizer. It gives it a bit of a free hand look!

For the inside I used two different fabrics for the "flaps" in true Harley Fashion!

I am trying to make all my projects for the rest of the year only using from my stash.... which consists of 2 50 gallon bins and more hidden fabric hidden throughout my house!
I had been in a crafting rut lately dealing with raising two kids, 2 dogs (we just added the second dog this past weekend) and dealing with an autoimmune disorder... Not knowing what to get my friend because I am not sure what all she has lead to this fantastic cover and a rebirth of my creativity! Now to find the time!

10  Re: Fabric Art Journal Pages Swap - Round 4 (Send out by May 26, 2015) in The Swap Gallery by CraftyMamaBee on: June 03, 2015 08:47:54 PM
Woohoo I received both my packages! We had roadwork being done and I think it screwed with our mail!

The two on the left are from pioneer9 and the Embroidered Bumble Bees are from Wulf! They are absolutely perfect! And the bees were well worth the problems with the mail with all the road work! And I have to say we have a nice fresh street for my daughter to bike on now
