81  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / My Harry Potter Costumes on: August 05, 2011 08:20:26 AM
Because of being a Fantasy nerd I also tried to cosplay Harry Potter Characters ... so within the last 2 years I cosplayed Hermione, Ron, Remus, Ginny and Sirius ... and there will be some more soon.

My first Harry Potter Character was Hermione Granger. For me it was so nice to sew her cloak and put the other parts together. It was also very difficult, to find the perfect Hermione Granger wig, but I was lucky and found it.

I also made the wand by myself ... it was so nice using a knife after so many years (the last time I did it was in secondary school :3), unfortunately it is broken now, but I will make a new one, when I am gonna chance the costume a bit.

More photos soon :3
82  CLOTHING / Costumes: Completed Projects / My Sam Gamgee Costume - Lord of the Rings on: August 05, 2011 08:06:48 AM
Since many years I am a large fan of Lord of the Rings, so for me it was so amazing to cosplay and of course making a costume of one of my most favourite hobbits ... Sam Gamgee :3

Most parts of the costumes are bought ... I only changed them a bit on my sewing machine ... the most difficult part was the wig ... it was so horrible to find the perfect one ... but this one ... yeah it makes me to Sam :3

It is so amazing to have your own Fellowship, Elves ... around you. I can't wait for September because it will be a fantastic chance to take photos in a fantastic forest :3

My hobbits are : 2-D, Murdoc, Bito and Reborn, our fantastic Galadriel is Momoe :3

More Photos to come :3

83  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / My Printing books of Totoro and my Hometown :3 on: August 04, 2011 02:16:37 PM
From January to April I studied Art in the Netherlands. It was very amazing because I studied in Dutch without the knowledge of the language ... fortunately it is easy to understand Dutch when you come from the North of Germany :3

So here are two examples of my printing books I made. The Totoro Book is my fave one ... because I am very in love with Totoro and all the fantastic Ghibli movies :3

Hopefully you enjoy them :3

84  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Sawyers Knutschkugeln ... or cute animal plushies everywhere :3 on: August 04, 2011 01:51:58 PM
oh my goodness, they're adorable! I especially love the fishies Smiley

Thanks :3, it is funny that you enjoy the fishes, because the owls had been the most favourite Knutschkugeln on one of our german conventions :3
85  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Care Bear Plushies on: August 04, 2011 01:50:34 PM
Since I was small I always wanted to have a care bear plushie ... but I never get one. So this year I used the chance and sew myself my own care bears :3

I think within the months I will have a huge collection of selfmade care bear plushies.

These cuties are made of fur fabric and selfmade fimo eyes :3

When I have got some new I will also post them here :3
86  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Sawyers Knutschkugeln ... or cute animal plushies everywhere :3 on: August 04, 2011 01:27:57 PM
Yeah my very first posting here and I really hope that there will not be any mistakes here :3.

I am a plush artist since 2006 and really love to sew them ... in this case I wanna use this thread to show you my cute and different Knutschkugeln ... hopefully you will enjoy them.

They are all very small and fit into one hand ... so there are perfect to take away and to cuddle :3

88  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where the heck are the ATCs? on: August 04, 2011 01:24:13 PM
It is fantastic that here is also an ATC Board in Germany we designed our own name for these cards ---> KAKAO-Karten, but the size is the same :3

90  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Why should I use felt? on: August 04, 2011 01:13:32 PM
Felt is not so good for plushies because it doesn't look good after years and to much cuddle ... I am sewing plushies since 2006 and have started sewing with felt ... but now 5 years agos these plushies doesn't look good anymore ... better combinations are fur fabric, fleece and velour for hair etc.
