1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: ONGOING ATC SWAP-- APRIL 2013 (Sign-up All Month, Claiming Starts 4/1) on: April 18, 2013 01:51:54 PM
I claim mairak for Harry Potter.

1 claims, 0 sent, 0 received

Hello :3,
this is my first try of swapping here (so I really hope everything is right), although I have got ATC Swap Experiences since 2007. So my name is Anne, I am 30 years old and currently live in the North of Germany. I am into lots kind of craft and art (watercolors, ATCs, sewing) but at the moment I am preferable into ATC Craft and if I have the motivation in plush sewing. I really love to try new techniques and craft something I never did before (except of knitting cause I always failed in it ...)

So my themes are:
-   Dodos (if you want to make me happy, you can try my own Dodo Version)
-   Birds (especially Peacocks, Red Cardinals, Owls)
-   Landscapes (I really love lighthouses, farms, forests)
-   Whimsical Trees
-   Paris/Eiffel Tower
-   London
-   Sights of your city

I really love drawn and painted cards, but also crafted cards so if you want ... just be creative :3
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects / Totoro Stamp Tutorial :3 on: April 12, 2013 02:51:55 PM
I think some of you might remember the Totoro Stamp I made before. Today I found my materials ... the rubber gum plate, the carving tools ... so I thought it would be good to make another Totoro Stamp :3

Hope this tutorial gonna be useful for you.

Here you can see the materials I used making the stamp. Instead of the baking paper it is also possible to use parchment paper ... but because I haven't had parchment paper at home I used the baking paper.

First you start drawing a sketch, anything you want.

How the sketch look like, the printing will look at the end, because the carved stamp also gonna be mirror inverted, when you are using this technique.

When you are done with your sketch use some tape to fix the baking paper on it.

Now just copy the lines on the baking paper using a soft pencil.

When the sketch is done, put the backing paper (with the sketch on the lower side) on the rubber gum plate.

Use the back of your pencil and rub carefully over your sketch.

When you are done there will be a copy of the sketch on your rubber gum plate at the end.

When you have made the rubber gum plate smaller (in this way it is easier to carve) use the carving tool, which looks similar to a knife, and follow all the lines before carving. In this way it gonna be easier for you to carve.

Now use your caving tools carfully. Start with the outer parts and at the end with the inner parts ... work slowly and carefully, so your stamp will look good at the end.

Last step gonna be testing and stamping :3
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: twinkle, twinkle little quilled star... on: April 11, 2013 03:23:48 PM
Starfish ... I really wanna go to the sea and search for some ... I want better weather.

I think you did again such an amazing job. It is so fantastic to see, how creative quilling could be :3. I am always happy to see new quilling projects you have made.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Pikachu Pika Hoodie Plushie on: April 08, 2013 08:25:41 AM

Using one of the first warm and sunny days this year (no it is not April ... no there wer not less sun this year ... hopefully this not gonna be normal for German weather in future ...) I have sewn a Pika Plush and took a picture in our garden :3.

First I made the plush and afterwards the Hoodie :3.

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Secretary Bird ATC and more :3 on: April 03, 2013 05:21:58 PM
My first try of making a smaller complete covered ATC ... gonna be for a project I am working on at the moment ... and it totally makes fun :3

I also used the chance watching UP and made a Kevin ATC, although I preferred not to cover the complete picture :3

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Happy Easter Quilling ATC on: March 29, 2013 03:56:08 PM

It is finished and I am happy how it turned out. This card really took me about 5-8 hours ... but at the end I have to say ... I love it. Again I just make tons of rolls and then glued and glued while I was watching the Ghibli Movies on Television. Because I wanted to have a larger ATC I used a double ATC except of a normal one.

The card gonna be a good way to say Happy Easter and it also gonna be my Easter Gift for my mum :3

I think the next card gonna be my Dodo :3

7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Metal Hoot on: March 28, 2013 02:38:36 PM

So yesterday I got some of these "metal plates" and thought it would be nice to test them making some ATCs. So again someching I totall love ... a Hoot :3.

Took some time to use this embossing technique, but was a nice try and also another good way to relax Smiley.

8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Ho-Oh (Pokmon) ATCs on: March 24, 2013 07:35:25 AM

So sometimes quilling can be very spontanous ... I rolled and rolled and glued and glued ... and at the end there had been Ho-Oh one of my favourite Pokmon :3

It is also the 2nd Time I made a Ho-Oh ATC.

9  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Totoro Quilling Cards on: March 23, 2013 02:05:35 PM
Sometimes it is good to combine something you are learning at the moment with something you love ... so a small and fast combination of Quilling and Totoro :3

It really makes fun and is a fantastic form to relax ...

10  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) / Quilling ATCs on: March 22, 2013 02:18:55 PM
