1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / I want to make a similar brand bag, Is it ok to do that? on: August 17, 2011 12:29:53 AM
I am thinking for a long time that I make bags as same as the brand bags(maybe I will add some other pattern)
my question is that is it right to do that, or it would break some kind of law?
What I can to do is this one
Chanel bag:  http://www.yahbags.com/chanel-handbag-2011-camellia-with-gold-hw-product-4494.html
I want to send it as gift for my best friend, she love the brand, but I can afford it, this is the only way i can do.
Another one is for myself

2  UNITED STATES / Tennessee / How to cut out a bridesmaid dress form an old dress? on: August 03, 2011 10:51:15 PM
I was invited as a  bridesmaid 2 months later, and I am learning sewing and design, i want to change my dress to another style, which look cute. (Guess cute style suits me)
Can anyone tell me is there any way I can do.
I could buy new one, but I just want to make some different.

PS:  the original dress was too long for me(I am not tall), since I am little puffy, the dress do not look good on me.
I was thinking cutting it short(not equal cut ), and make a bandage.

PPS: Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
