i rented coraline from the library awhile ago and somehow a pair of 3d glasses are still at my apartment. so i was looking at 3d pictures on the computer and it was kinda fun, so i made these for more fun.
sorry it's a bad picture with bad color, but it's a face of a rubiks cube as a rug for the kitchen or some other small area only thing i've ever finished in granny square
i taught myself to crochet from vids on youtube i need two questions answered , PLEASE?
when single crocheting and looking at the line of sideways "V"-s you insert the needle under the bottom part of the V, correct? i learned that using the top will look like ribbing
and also, when working in a round or making amigurumi's does it matter if you use the top or the bottom part of the sideways "V"?
i can't find a video that is clear enough or doesn't have someone flying through it
here's the scoop.. i put alot of effort into the items i use for cache-ing.. and i don't want to complain because it is a family sport, but it would be cool to cache with other crafters who make items instead of just throwing in some stickers and clothespins.
am i a bad person? lol.. there was quite a debate on the site about someone suggesting an "adult only" geocache section.
this took me 2 weeks in my sculpture class and i used about 200 bags. it's about 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and contact cemented to an old RV outdoor rug for secure backing. it's not very practical for cats but if it gets dirty from being walked on, it just takes a quick wipedown
this is me with my rug at the Belles Typography Show in Midland, Mi last week.
after coming across this site....http://www.catmorley.com/blog/project.php?id=53, i was thinking that if there was a really difficult stencil, one could transer it onto fabric and then hand paint over the image with the acrylic/textile medium. would this make sense?! i haven't tried it yet because i don't have terpentine...hmm someone let me know please.
