22  Wire Wrapped Earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: December 04, 2011 08:23:20 PM
I've had these once gold plain looking earrings for awhile. I was going to take the beads off and throw them away. But then I got the idea to wrap them with wire and seedbeads. For some reason my jewelry looks terrible with white back grounds. I have been taking pictures on a banana tree leaf and the pictures have been vibrant and crystal clear.
In this picture you can see the details.

Here is the pair together.

This is what they use to look like.

23  Video Tutorial for Beaded Flower Cluster Necklace in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: November 27, 2011 07:22:05 PM
It has been awhile sense I have done anything on craftster. Now that Christmas is upon us I thought I would share this tutorial with others looking for Christmas gifts to make for family and friends. If this necklace is to bold for you, it can be made out of little flowers for a more delicate look. There is three parts to this tutorial. The first video shows how to make the large flower. The second shows how to make the small flower. The third shows how to connect the flowers. Please tell me what you think about the necklace. If you are on youtube please subscribe I will subscribe you back. Here is the link.Enjoy!

24  Video tutorial for weaved bugle bead earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: October 27, 2011 07:45:22 PM
I have been getting asked to make a tutorial for these earrings. So I studied my design and started writing out a tutorial so I can type it up. But it was so confusing trying to explain it that way. I figured the best way I learned jewelry making was by watching videos on youtube. I made a video tutorial here is the link http://www.youtube.com/user/beadifulnights?feature=mhee
I used 10mm bugle beads so it is easier to see in the video. This project was very cheap to make if you don't have fishline you can find it very cheap. I bought mine from walmart for $3.00 bucks.

Materials List for earrings:       tools needed:       Materials for a pendent:
88-5mm bugle beads               nipper tool           44-5mm bugle beads
16-2mm round beads               tweezers             8-2mm round beads
60-11 aught seedbeads                                       30-11 aught seedbeads
2-10lb. test 40 inch monofilament fishline           1-10lb. test 40 inch monofilament fishline

Oops! I left the tweezers out of the picture the tweezers are for getting the end of your string out of tricky and tight places.

25  Chandelier inspired Necklace and Earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: October 10, 2011 05:59:47 PM
I made this necklace awhile back and last night I decided to make matching earrings. In this jewelry set I used recycled beads and chains. I really love the texture chains in this set. I hope this will inspire other people. Tell me what you think.

26  Melted Bead Pendents in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: September 28, 2011 09:01:24 PM
I got the idea to make these after seeing melted bangles, bowls, lamp shades, drink coasters and window decorations. I melted them in a toaster oven outside so I didn't inhale the fumes. I melted two different types of beads and pony beads were definitely the best ones. Not all of these turned out as I wanted. My plan was to make these look like glass but the problem is they are just to lite.  I will have to put them on something that they can easily slide on like seedbeads or cord. Tell me what you think.

This one has pony beads and round plastic beads.

just pony beads

just pony beads

large faceted round beads

This one has odd shaped beads. I used a metal cookie cutter to get the heart shape.

I first ended up with the right flower and tried to make another to match but it didn't turn out.

This was just one huge plastic bead. I think it looks like a lolly pop.

This one just seams so darn ugly to me. I might have over melted it.

27  Big Necklace Reconstructed in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: September 21, 2011 07:01:25 PM
My Mom bought the necklace at the bottom of the page for just a few bucks. She told me it laid awkwardly and asked me to do something else with it. So I made four different pieces out of it and still have beads left over. She was very happy with the results. I also used other recycled materials to make these pieces. Original necklace at end of page.
Please, tell me what you think.

In this piece I used a chain from a old belt that I already had.

Here is the left overs it's just a matter of time till I make something with these.

This is the original necklace the mother of these four pieces.

28  Royalty Necklace number three in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: September 18, 2011 08:18:21 PM
This is the third Royalty necklace that I have made. If you haven't see my other Royalty necklaces they are in the Beads: Completed Projects Forum. I went a little crazy with the colors on this one but I like it. It has a lobster claw clasp for strength. The color of the iris seedbeads were really hard to get to show up on camera so I took pictures outside. The pendant and the beaded beads were my own designs. So tell me what you think.

29  Blue Royalty in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: September 15, 2011 06:20:05 PM
This pendant design was the same as the first Royalty Necklace I posted. I actually made this necklace before that necklace. If you did not see my first Royalty Necklace it is in the Beads: Completed Projects forum. This necklace was when I first created this design so I was experimenting with different size beads that is why I used crummy beads to make it. I still like how it turned out though. I am proud of this pendent design it looks like a flower to me.Tell me what ya think about it.

30  Royalty Necklace and earrings in Beads: Completed Projects by beadiful nights on: September 05, 2011 07:30:29 PM
So I only had these ten blue pearls and ten faceted gold beads. I wanted to make something different and beautiful out of them. I always try to make something out of very little materials. Nothing ever goes to waste. Anyway the necklace and earrings are my own designs. I made the necklace first then later decided to make the earrings. I didn't have enough blue pearls for the earrings I used them all in the necklace. So I used what I had left over from the necklace to make them.I hope everyone likes them I worked so hard on these pieces tell me what you think about them.
Here is a close up so you can see the details.

This is what the entire necklace looks like.

These earrings were so hard to photo graph.
