@sammylouise40: Love the hand bowl!  I did one once when I was younger; sadly most of the fingers broke.

A couple of the fingers fell off of my hand bowl but I used E6000 and glued them back on.

Battle/Challenge:  Luck of the Irish
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: include which bonus points you think you've earned (e.g., Giver, Engineering, UFO)
Project Name: Creeper Plaque
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
I am currently obsessed with Minecraft so when I saw that we could make anything green for this challenge, the first thing I thought of was a Creeper. He's just a Creeper I painted on a round wooden plaque. I used washi tape to make the squares as straight as possible.

Project Name: Blueberry Pi
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
Since I can't bake very well, I made a pie using polymer clay. It's a blueberry pie with the Pi symbol on the top. (Sorry for the horrible photo. I don't have a camera so all photos are taken on my IPod.)

This is a great idea. I have a bunch of boards with ideas in them. I made something just this week from a pin I found.
The pin is http://www.pinterest.com/pin/482940760013575458/.
My remake:

Now I'll have to go through all my boards for more projects to make.

sammylouise40, that hand is pretty cool! Will you hang it on the wall, or will it be a functional piece of art?

Ill probably use it as a bowl since that 's what its suppose to be. It just doesn't curve as much due to its size.

I completed my first page for this craftalong. I started a new journal just for it. I'm pretty new to art journaling so I'm still learning a lot of the techniques. I used the flowers theme for the first page.

I hope you can see it alright. I don't have a camera for taking photos, just my IPod so the photos are a little blurry.

Here's my first project for the Nerd Battles!

Battle/Challenge: March- Clone Wars
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: include which bonus points you think you've earned (e.g., Giver, Engineering, UFO)
Project Name: Heart in Hand
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.pinterest.com/pin/482940760013575458/
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
For the Clone Wars prompt, I made this hand out of clay. I found the tutorial on Pinterest and thought it looked neat. Mine is a lot smaller since I have tiny hands. I also painted it with my favorite color combo of pink and black with some white.

I've gotten 3 sets done so far. Once I started I couldn't stop. Smiley Ill finish the rest either this weekend or next week since Spring Break is coming up so I'll have tons of time to work on them. The loteria was fun to do since I had no idea what it was so I had to use his Pinterest board and Google. The pieces came out pretty neat. I'll wait until all sets are done before I start mailing though.

I have received all blanks now and have finished one set. Trying to get them done early since I'm a procrastinator. Smiley

House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Clay board
Project Page Link (if available): https://www.youtube.com/user/SugarCharmShop This is the YouTube channel of the crafter who inspired this project.
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.)
My favorite craft to do, as many of you can tell, is to sculpt with polymer clay but I do not have a proper board to use for it. One of my favorite YouTube crafters showed that she uses glass from a picture frame so I went through the stash of frames I have, got the biggest one and started using it. Found a couple problems though. It kept sliding around the table and the edges were really sharp. To fix this, I put some felt on the back and cover the sides with duct tape. I tried clay for the sides but when it dried it came off the frame so my mom suggested duct tape and I just happened to have tape that matched my felt. It works great now and I'm not going to get sliced up using it.

That hippogriff is so cute, pottermouth. Thanks for including a tutorial. I'm going to try that out. Smiley
