1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Audrey Hepburn pop art on: November 15, 2007 03:53:49 AM
Hi guys,

Three years ago, I decided to take a break from my drawings, but recently I've gotten back into the whole art scene. This is the first painting I've done in forever and I'm very happy with it and just wanted to share. Audrey's always a classic!

Cheers,

Emm.
2  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: come one! come all! post pics of your tattoos! on: April 04, 2006 05:04:39 AM
The first & only tattoo I have was my 15th birthday present from my parents.

I have Alice in Wonderland done on my upper left arm... I don't regret it at all, but sometimes I wish I hadn't be so stubborn, and listened to other placement suggestions... People can be so rude about certain things!!

It's been three years, & I'd really like to get a second one done soon... I have a really strange fear that I'll finally get around to it & have forgotten how bad tattoos can hurt ( as strange as that sounds!  Undecided ). I'd rather be expecting it, then have it come as a complete shock ( My tattooist for Alice saw I was scared, and pinched my arm lightly to try and calm me down... He said it wouldn't hurt any more than that... I'll never believe him again!!  Cheesy ).

I was thinking about having my neck done ( the back, slightly above the spine )... & I see a few people here with it done, so I thought I'd asked... What was your experience with it? Good or bad, I'd like to hear it all. I also have a low pain tolerance, so would you try and suggest another place, too? Thanks everybody~

Just got my package today from Lethbridge... Thank you! ♥ I love your letter... & it was really nice of you to include all the supplies, I'm sure I'll put them to good use!

4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Inlay? on: February 06, 2006 05:40:33 PM
Are we supposed to have an inlay for the CD case, too?

In Canada, it's acceptable as long as you have a last name.. You could easily put First Initial + Last name.
That's how I always do it  Cheesy

I think people should only include their handles / explanations if they really feel like it... Some people might have problems with doing something like that, while others may have no problems at all  Smiley

actoneends,

I guess you'd probably be best to do it, since you seem to be one of the few who's participated in swaps before  Smiley I probably overlooked like 90% of the required things anyway, I'm terrible with this  Roll Eyes

I'd still like to help with organizing though, but maybe we could do it together, so I'd still have some idea of how things work around here?  Wink

I'll start looking into how to get this going.  Cheesy

I've never done a swap, so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it!
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Okay, I'm a moron.. on: December 20, 2005 01:01:07 AM
When I originally posted this, I forgot all about it because I couldn't find a way to get back to it.. I was only reminded by a private message I got today by Ane.. I'm so sorry for abandoning this thread!!  Sad

Yes, ElvenOne, Australians would be including, if you're still up for it!

If anyone can tell me how to start this thing going, I hope we can still get this started ( & I promise not to forget again  Wink ).
10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Virgin Mary, Round II? on: November 02, 2005 01:28:09 PM
I'd like to do this, but I don't know if I could make all of the three crafts.
Would this round be able to send do one or two things, instead?
