*gasps for air* Finally.....got.... .the photos...*throws self out of River of Work* I gave up and bought a jumpdrive; every other bloody thing I tried failed. Without further adieu (and lots of pics), I give you...my gleanings!



The package, in all it's glory! But there's a mysterious rattling inside that intrigued me all the way home...



Revealed to be CANDY. Dearest gods, I needed those Reese's Pieces...the only problem was that the baggie had broken, so they were all over!



THESE made me scream with absolute joy, startling my dad and slightly pissing him off...till he got to playing with the bracelet and was distracted XD.



It took me a bit to realize it, but that lovely little pouch up above held two adorable bottles of 'vitamins' and 'antibiotics'. It was then that I realized what the 'candy' was for. 



*laughs evilly* Now I have paper for my plans to take over the weakened world-I MEAN a diary. *shifty eyes* Yes, it's a diary, not my diabolical scheming book.



And everything all together! The pencils are ones that don't need to be sharpened, and somehow slipped by everything else.

Krafty_Karasu, you are awesomesauce. And I'm so glad you're my partner! When I finally get off of work early tonight (early being around 6pm) and get my errands done, I'll see if I can get dressed up and still have enough daylight to run a quick photoshoot for action shots.

My first full cosplay photo posting! For our local convention, I've been cosplaying Riza Hawkeye from the series Full Metal Alchemist/Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood for the past few years, and finally got around to posting the few decent photos I've been able to get before I put on teh pounds.


This is half of our cosplay group; my husband (the skinny guy with the huge sunglasses) was our very BAMF Spoiler!Roy Mustang. If you're wondering why he's a spoiler...let's just say that the second series has a portion near the end where Mustang goes blind, so my dear hubby chose to wear enormous glasses and follow a 'hot chick' radar.


This was my favorite shot out of all of them (I look thin!) and it really showed off the detail in the outfit. We handmade all but the gloves, undershirts, and shoes; I did the pants, he did the jackets (fully lined and hot as crud during the summer), and we both swapped on the details, such as the stars, stripes, gold rope, and miscellanius cheap white satin bands. I'd post a tutorial if enough people liked it, so let me know how we did!

And if you're wondering...the only things we've had to fix in the last two years are the stars on the shoulders, the gold rope, and the occasional hotglueing of my stupid Lieutenant stripes.
 (EDIT: I'm sorry, I forgot to mention the guy lying down! That's our dear friend Jordan, who was very tired, and chose to lay down on the cool concrete before we headed back to the con.)

Oh, I should also probably mention. I have a ton of fabric left over from when I hit the motherload a while back and was given a lot of fabric samples by a local designer.


That is what it originally looked like. The pile is a bit smaller now that I have picked out some of the fabric that I want, but I still have two very large boxes full. If anyone wants to swap for some, it might come in handy for this swap, considering that most of us are probably going to be using a mixture of textiles on our designs. If you want some, let me know. Even if you don't want to swap, if you pay for shipping, you can have it.

OH GOD YES. Not that I need any more fabric, but I'll definitely be PM-ing you, though probably after I find out who my partner is.
