I am vegan for my health, the environment and compassion for all living things. I believe choosing to be vegan has been the single most important decision I have made for my entire life.
I finished this just in time for the new school year from a pattern I found for free here: http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/2011/07/1-2-3-sew-free-pattern-giveaway/ It was super easy, roomy and fun to make. I didn't use the bamboo batting the pattern called for, I used Insul-Bright batting instead.
wow! how long did it take to make? it is truley lovely
I estimate about 10 hours from start to finish. There were a lot of pieces that didnt have a pattern template and needed to be measured out and rotary cut. Thanks for all the compliments everyone!
Finished making my second bag ever. I am very happy with this one because it is actually practical and has enough pockets for all my needs. I bought the pattern here http://www.etsy.com/shop/ChrisWDesigns and it was well worth it as the directions are so complete and it's a style worth repeating. Including the price of the pattern, the supplies cost around $25. Not bad.
