I received yesterday from Alatarial.  She sent me some soft cozy slippers and a clothespin holder. They are wonderful. Thank you so much! If it wasn't raining today, I might have done a load of laundry just to try out my clothespin holder. Now off to the actual desktop to send official pm and to take a closer look at all the other cool packages.

23  Lined Green Organizer Bag in Crochet: Completed Projects by BigBangMomma on: August 30, 2014 04:12:06 PM
I had made several pairs of squares from an afghan book and decided to make them into a small bag. Instead of adding a strap, I made it a small organizer bag. It's about 9" squared. I'm pretty excited because it's my first time with lining a bag, and with using magnetic closutes, or actually any closure like that. Next time, I'll add my closure a little lower so u can sew it in above and below it, but I am super pleased with my first try.

Thanks for looking!

24  Marine Amigurimi Doll in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by BigBangMomma on: June 06, 2014 02:39:49 PM
I was commissioned by a friend to crochet a Marine amigurimi keepsake doll for one of her family members who will be completing bootcamp in a couple weeks.  I mostly used the same pattern from a book I have and changed it up to resemble as closely as possible with as much detail a Marine.  Except for the hat which is sewn on, all the clothes are removeable.  She measures about 20-21".

My partner mama24boyz received a while ago but has been super busy. I hope this collage I'm sending from my phone works. I sent her a Zombie Merle ami, a Don't Open Dead Inside drawstring bag, a mini Daryl hoopla. I also sent a little journal, no pictures, and some seeds to plant for fresh food during the apocolypse. Anyway, Melanie,  add your own pics when you have a chance.

My partner was camezzo. She's received her package, but will be out of town for a while and asked if I could post pictures of what I sent.

So...I've recently done a mad binge watching session of Doctor Who, and am now all caught up for the next season.  When she had an entire Doctor Who board on her Pinterest, I felt I had hit the jackpot.  I hope she didn't mind getting an overload of Doctor Who related things.  I did send a sweet extra for her young daughter...a hot pink hippo...not Doctor Who related!!

Sorry, the first one is a bit blurry, but here's the whole package:

Here's a close up of this Wibbly Wobbly Star:

Then I decided I'd do a hoopla wall hanging of catch phrases of the doctors:

I wanted to add my pictures with close ups of all the hoops, but either Craftster is being slow, or my internet, and I seem to be unable. I also didn't take a single shot of her TARDIS drawstring bag. It was all fun to make and I hope that she likes it all!  I also didn't realize the hippo was looking away!

Thanks for the great swap!

I received from camezzo today and wow do I love everything!! It's so interesting when my partners tell me they picked something off my pinterest as there is so much on there I forget what I've pinned. Hah! This is a hoopla my hubby should appreciate:

And then, I've been wanting a pin cushion/thread catcher for my sewing machine.  Check it out:

But my absolute favorite, and one I had been pining for for a long time is an Alaska tote bag. I was born and raised there and now live 1000s of miles away. I can't believe camezzo had a tote in her stash! Lucky me! Check it out:

I hope this posts ok. I'm trying posting from the tapatalk app. Sorry if the pics are sideways--so annoying when they rotate when uploading.

Thanks for a wonderful swap. Can't wait for another round! Camezzo, I hope you like your package as much as I love yours. Thanks again.

30  Re: One Tiny Surprise Thing Round 2 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by BigBangMomma on: April 26, 2014 04:18:54 PM

I received today from rockingbearranch! She was sneaky with her gift because, when folded, it fits into the under 4" dimensions, but like the T.A.R.D.I.S (finally watching the series, and in season 7), it was bigger on the inside!  Check it out:

Thank you very much! I love the colors. I actually used similar colors in my OTST, as well as on a scarf I'm working on for my Etsy shop.
