151  Megaman TOOOT in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by rangerbeth on: September 06, 2004 10:47:36 AM
This little guy is from  Megaman 5 I believe.  I wish I could capture the "toot"  noise he makes better.  Its by far my fave enemy from the megaman series because he's just so darn cute.

153  Re: Tyvek Pouch for Any Occasion in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by rangerbeth on: June 08, 2004 02:58:02 PM
AWESOME pouches.  I tried drawing on mine with regular crayola markers and it rubbed off... so I just used the pattern already on the pouch. My dad works at the post office so we have a million of these lying around.

154  Re: deep blue sea chair! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by rangerbeth on: June 08, 2004 10:38:37 AM
Very cute.  I got rid of an old dining set, and this was the only piece I could salvage.  I am a HUGE hello kitty fan so here is my take on the deep blue.  (BTW, sorry for my humongo pics.)

155  Re: Stuffed felt monsters - Now with tutorial and pictures in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by rangerbeth on: June 08, 2004 10:19:51 AM
So friggin fantastic everyone.  I serious fell in love with each of them!  I tried to make my own but I made his appendages a little too skinny.  He's my anorexic robot monster.  If nothing else, my dogs will love him.  Thanks for posting.  I cheated and applied his facial features with machine though.  Not as charming I must say.

156  Re: Sophia Loren Stencil w/tutorial in Stenciling: Completed Projects by rangerbeth on: June 08, 2004 10:13:24 AM
Thanks for the rad suggestions.  I promptly found a copy of photoshop and the "stamp" filter is my personal god.  I've made a bagillion of stencils.  Here is one that I spray painted on a vinyl jordy bag.  Its Bjork, even though it looks like she has an amish beard.

Oh my! Thanks much for posting the link to the pirate stencil.  There has been a "discussion" lately between my friends on pirate vs. ninja http://bgkf.proboards23.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&num=1078295295 .  I, of course, am a strong supporter of pirates. Here is what I did with the stencil.

158  Re: faux fur in What the heck can I do with THIS? by rangerbeth on: June 08, 2004 09:59:17 AM
I love faux fur.  I bought a couple of yards of this really soft choco colored fur last year with nothing really in mind.  But I finally decided to make a bear rug and what was supposed to be a stuffed bear but its now a stuffed "hector".      P.S. I hopethe photos wurk, if they don't let me know.

Wow, the hanging basket idea is very creative.  Just what i was looking for.  I sort of have a set of these bowls around.  I could stop at just one bowl so now i have several bowls for fruits and veggies, some with plants in them (eventually will be upgraded to hanging basket) and I used the small records for candle holders.  Came out ok. Have pictures but i'm not sure how to post them.   , .  That probably didn't work did it?
