Not much in the way of productivity around these parts.. I'm on a mini-vacation from making bags this week. I've been offered a new day job and I've also got to finish some cat sushi roll samples for a craft fair. This is what came of last week:

A diaper bag.. lots of room, but I think I made it a little TOO wide!




Brightly colored hobo-style purse




Embroidered cosmetics/money pouch.. I think the color in the picture is a little wonky!

I haven't posted here in a while! I've made quite a few bags since then. My latest three are:

a silohuette bowler bag (fabric by Michael Miller). Clear & black vinyl.


an earthy looking big purse with oodles of pockets


and a simple tote thing with huge sakura flowers & matching kerchief

I've been browsing notions & supplies for bagmaking online and I'm completely baffled as to what "foot brads" are for. They look like studs or something, but what are they used for? Or are they just decoratve? Does anyone know?

These are my sushi roll catnip toys  They are hand embroidered and come in an origami box. There's an opening to put catnip in. My cat loves these things! I think I might try to sell them

I've browsed Crafster many times but never really had anything to show. This is my first post and my first successful bag! The others were a little wonky in some way  . I actually knit the shrug first and I was inspired to make the tote when I saw the material at the fabric store. I had success selling the same style shrug on Ebay so I'm thinking of auctioning them of as a set. Too bad GGH doesn't make Sombrero yarn anymore!
