any ideas on presenting tickets
Well, for Christmas, I got my boyfriend two DVDs he had been clamoring about for a really long time. But since I felt that they were sentimentally empty, I bought him tickets to go see "Jazz and Art" (his two favorite things), a concert at Lincoln Center (NYC).
I took a spare DVD case, and put the tickets where the slip of paper that usually comes with a DVD would go. I printed out a fake DVD with the Jazz at Lincoln Center logo as the art, and Photoshopped the DVD case art, printed it out, and slipped in under the plastic sleeve.
The back of the DVD case art was a write up of the program that I found on the Lincoln Center website, and a picture of a trumpet, a stand-up bass, and two pieces of artwork mentioned in the write up. The cover was a Picasso of a band playing music, and underneath it, it said "Jazz & Art".
It worked out wonderfully. I made sure he opened it after the two actual DVDs, and he was really surprised.
Something like that might work for you. Good luck!
