Amazing, incredible, fantastic... that little blue bird is so lucky! You're inspiring me to make something on a much smaller scale... perhaps a bedside lamp or night light? Thank you for posting such a great creation and so many terriffic photos. Grin
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: T-shirt to asymmetrical ruffle vest! on: July 09, 2007 07:05:21 AM
Love it! You did a great job. This beats up my chop off the sleeves, and trim the neck t-shirt creations. Where did you find that tute?

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Colorful Raggedy Scrap Scarf! (IMG HEAVY) on: July 14, 2006 06:25:28 PM
Great scarf! I think you've just inspired me to try to knit again...Garter is the only stitch I know.

That is a lovely pin and the model is very cute too.

Thanks for posting!
6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Every girl needs a new clutch for her cruise. on: February 25, 2006 08:11:59 AM
What a lovely thoughtful gift. Whenever I go on a trip, I try to bring one absolutely smashing bright item that will jazz up almost anything and the orange clutch definately qualifies! Love your fabric too!

Make more and SELL! There is a great boutique in my neighborhood that carries "mini designer" creations. You only have to make a few for them to display and sell it. Maybe there's a similar shop near you too? Give it a try! Share your fab bags with the rest of the girly world.
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: ongoing wishlist swap 5- wish from BlooCanoe on: February 06, 2006 04:05:52 PM
Holy Cow!!! BlooCanoe made me not one but two pincushions... a leaf one and a CUPCAKE (leaf is two sided, spring and fall) with anti-escape devices. She also made my wish#1 on the sly... she sent me crochet flowers to turn into something and a how to kit! Thanks again Bloo.  Grin See the goods below..

Glad I made Violet bloom!

This is my second claim for this round.

My long list follows below (with more options for your crafting pleasure):

I live in Brooklyn, NYC

1-   A few Knit or Crochet Flowers, Large for me to make into
Brooches, Pins, hairclips, necklaces, etc, maybe beaded or felt
details added. Or maybe you'd  make them into something?  Maybe
include a Crochet flower kit with really clear instructions. I still
cannot quite "get" the patterns and my flower making is stalled.
Here are examples that I like:
knit- http://www.eoinadesigns.com/knitflower.html- I don't knit
yet, but want to soon
crochet- http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/chs-rosettes.html

2-   A sweet hat, my head size is 23" around top of ears, I like this
hat in the knit version which is stretchier (I have curly crazy hair):
http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/flower-caps-print.htm
or any style that is good for not squishing my hair.

4-   Legwarmers, saw this on a prior wishlist:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=26763.0
Thanks for chooing this wish Rain.

5-   Arm Warmers like this:
http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/leaf-armband-print.htm
, don't have to be so fancy, but maybe a little longer so I could wear
some of my T-Shirts in cold weather.

6-   Knit purse something like this:
http://www.moonarts.com/blog/free_patterns/pages/via-mala-purse-print.htm
in dark orange, red, camel or brown with a flowery or pretty lining.

7-  Something decorated with swallow, flaming heart, lucky horseshoe,
koi, vintage, tattoo style designs: tote, small messenger, t-shirt,
clutch, zipper pouch?
Thanks for chosing this wish miss brianne, Im waiting with pure excitement in my heart!

8- Knitted Shrug- like this amazing circular one that I dream of:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45597.msg479480#msg479480
in red, deep coral, cream, or something springy looking.

9-   A fun pin-cushion, with a way to attach it to my bag (ties, a
leash, clip thingy) just lost mine on the subway while embroidering on
the way to work... I ran for the transfer and it bounced out of my bag
and rolled along the floor, someone picked it up but the doors shut
before she could give it to me.
Im waiting for it with baited
breath! Thanks for choosing me BlooCanoe

10-   If I can wish big a slouchy hobo bag =
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35575.0 in a vintagey

pendants or earrings.

12-   A Hipslinger Bag: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=31379.0

13-   Dream Skirt!
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72797.0;topicseen
...if someone is an incredible seamstress and very generous!

14-   Scooter chick theme stenciled t-shirt (women's size M), maybe with SkootyMiss on it and some
1" buttons with scooter chick themes.

15-   A crochet needle case... or modified one for sewing supplies including my big fiskars pinking shear, two other fabric shears, misc pockets etc. I really like this one: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=69952.0

16- Skooter themed fabrics, enough to make a skirt or a few smaller pieces to cut out appliques.

17- Vintage 70's super heroes sheets or curtains that I can cut out appliques from say.. wonder woman, star wars, etc.

18- Fabric Flower Hairclips like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=35530.0

I am 30ish years old and live in Brooklyn. Favorite colors: red, dark
pinks, coral, orange, yellow & anything big floral. I love: flamboyant
accessories, bold flowers, scarves, jewelry, boxer-dogs, birds
& squirrels. My style this winter can be described as 1940's tango
divafishnets, boots, big crazy skirts. I rode my skoooter like crazy
earlier in January. It was temps in the 50's - 60's in NYC now it's
back to winter... sigh.
