2  Skirt in Crochet: Completed Projects by Guacamole on: February 03, 2012 09:03:57 AM
I had a LOT of extra little pieces of yarn laying around so I used 'em all on one project...a skirt for my daughter.

Sorry the picture is blurry, I had to take it with my phone

3  Mini Ranger's Apprentice :) in Halloween Costumes by Guacamole on: November 05, 2011 01:08:27 PM
This is my first halloween with a wee one and I changed my mind about a thousand times before i made her a costume. And after finishing the first costume (a peacock that looked sweeeeet!) I changed my mind again because she would've been reaaaaally hard to carry. So the night before halloween at 8pm I decided to make a new costume, she was a ranger's apprentice (from the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan). I hand stitched the cape, tunic, and leggings. The cape really does have an awesome hood on it but she's a super squirmy little one and she was determined to not let me get a good picture of her with the hood up.

4  Shower Curtain turned Apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Guacamole on: August 24, 2011 09:18:10 PM
I think this is the right place for this...
I have a friendy who owns a laundry mat and she asked me if I could make her some aprons to wear to work. The picture kind of sucks, but it's a black fabric with white polka dots, the flowers are red/black/white.

5  Baby Mittens in Knitting: Completed Projects by Guacamole on: August 22, 2011 03:58:56 PM
My little girl's hands are ALWAYS freezing so I made her some mittens. They're lined with part of an old pillowcase cause the yarn I used gets scratchy after awhile.

6  Shoe! in Knitting: Completed Projects by Guacamole on: August 21, 2011 06:37:08 PM
I was in the middle of making a dress for the munchkin today when I opened my knitting book and found a pattern for these shoes. Naturally I only felt the need to make one. It's the first shoe I've ever made, and will soon be making it a mate  Smiley

7  Birthday Dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by Guacamole on: August 20, 2011 07:39:07 PM
My friend's daughter just turned 1 so i made her a dress, it's the second dress I've ever made and since I have no sewing machine I sewed it by hand with no pattern. I'm a wee bit proud of myself for that  Grin ...anywho, I'm still new to the sewing thing so any tips would be appreciated!
