I tried out the "Worlds In Time" online game today, and it's kinda fun. A little repetitive and annoying, but it's Doctor Who, so I was willing to try it at least. You get to customize a character and you get a "gadget" that looks more like a sonic screwdriver as you upgrade it.

There's also a PS3 game coming out this year called "The Eternity Clock." Follows the 11th Doctor and River Song's adventures, and is supposed to come out in North America.

Can't wait to get started on this swap! I've got so many ideas in my head...maybe I'll go watch some classic Doctor Who while I wait.

So I finally broke down an watched the last episode with the 9th Doctor. It's official I cried like a big big baby when he regenerated.. I miss him so much already lol.. I was telling my mom about it this morning and broke down and began crying again. This is going to be hard lol..   It actually put me in a funk and I cry at the drop of a hat now.. What have ya'll done to me..

This swap is desperately making me wish Netflix had the newest shows...

I just ended up watching them all with a friend who downloaded them. I justify it by saying I'll buy them when BBC releases a big boxed set for Matt Smith like they did for Tennant in 2011. (The Tennant set is great if you don't have any of his seasons yet. )

Yeah, sometimes it's a good idea to have tissues nearby with Doctor Who, especially at the end of a season.

Happy New Year's Eve! I'm watching the Twilight Zone marathon tonight to celebrate. I wish there were a Doctor Who New Year's special, too...I feel like the changeover between years would be a time when lots of weird stuff should happen!

What's everyone up to for New Year's, other than anxiously awaiting the start of this swap?

Honestly, I think my favorite Doctor is the Doctor. I'm a bit partial to Tennant because he was my first Doctor, but Smith and even Eccleston (who I thought I'd just never like) have both grown on me. Not sure how I'll feel after watching the classic series, though.

Speaking of the classic series...for those who have watched it, can you recommend a good point to jump in or Doctor to start with? I've seen the tiniest bit of the 4th and I'm thinking of watching more of his episodes first, but beyond that I don't know where to go.
