I love this tutorial from Quiltmaker http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quiltypleasures/2010/07/a-quick-quilt-label-method-and-a-giveaway/ but sometimes make it even more simple by using plain embroidery to leave my "mark" on a light colored fabric.

I use shoebox sized containers to fold them and keep them almost like 'file cards' in a cabinet. Each box is for a different color family (only have four boxes, ha!) except for a smaller box when I keep the few lines of fabric I've bought as a group.

I'm still new-ish to knitting but I love bamboo needles too!

Gorgeous! I like how it contrasts and shines when the light hits it. Where do you plan on displaying this beauty?
