14  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / My first sew and Show here. Baby stuff from Ottobre. on: August 27, 2011 06:58:21 PM
Hello,
I am Shannon.   Wink  This is my first sew and show here.  I was lucky enough to get a sew a baby outfit yesterday.  I haven't sewn for a baby since my youngest was born...she is 8.
One of my oldest DD, Trystan,  friends from elementary school is having a baby in October. (hmmm that is an interesting sentence) Her Baby shower was today.   Here is what I made for her

The top and pants are Ottobre.  The booties and hat from the Internet.

All together

Bodysuit

Just a free form applique.  I tried a heart but didn't like that.

I get to make something for my BF little brother next.  Wendy has been my friend for 28 years and remember her little brother when he was about 2.   He just had a baby a couple weeks ago.

They look like Dolly Dingles.  My Grandma had some of those (not vintage reprints) that we played with as kids.  YOu did a super job and I am sure they will be a well recieved gift.
