Hello,
I received a lovely package from Homerof2.
Here are pictures of my goodies

First up Neat origami ornament

Second if a quilted ornament.  This won is cool enough that it even impressed the 18 year old boy.

Third is a neat bookmark.  AS Homerof2 said...You can never have too many bookmarks.  This one is being used in one of my text books.

Forth is this lovely doily.  She did a wonderful job on it.

Fifth is a pink gift bag.  I am trying to switch to cloth bags instead of wrapping paper.

She also sent me some fabric from her personal stash.
Thank you for the wonderful swap package.

2  BTS Outfit for third grade in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by nanirose on: September 06, 2011 09:17:56 AM
All three pieces are Ottobre.
The neckline on the tee shirt will need to be redone.  I had 3 twin needles.  I broke two, one because it fit the needle plate (forgot that sewing machine resets to right instead of center) and the third one is dull and keeps skipping stitches.  I didn't want to go to the store to get another needle though.

Leggings fit her good, although rather long.

The tunic has a pocket on the front.

3  My first sew and Show here. Baby stuff from Ottobre. in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by nanirose on: August 27, 2011 06:58:21 PM
Hello,
I am Shannon.   Wink  This is my first sew and show here.  I was lucky enough to get a sew a baby outfit yesterday.  I haven't sewn for a baby since my youngest was born...she is 8.
One of my oldest DD, Trystan,  friends from elementary school is having a baby in October. (hmmm that is an interesting sentence) Her Baby shower was today.   Here is what I made for her

The top and pants are Ottobre.  The booties and hat from the Internet.

All together

Bodysuit

Just a free form applique.  I tried a heart but didn't like that.

I get to make something for my BF little brother next.  Wendy has been my friend for 28 years and remember her little brother when he was about 2.   He just had a baby a couple weeks ago.
