1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Glass Toppers like Resin? on: April 28, 2012 05:03:33 PM
This is quite an old question/post but I figured someone could still use the info,
they are (at least now) quite easy to find on etsy if you search -round -dome -glass -cabochon -clear in the supplies. They are available in a few different sizes and even forms.

there's even something called epoxie adhesive stickers that could work, they seems to be thiner.
2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Plastic Spiral Comb Binding on: July 06, 2011 10:48:55 AM
Not an actual idea, but doesn't your work has one of those machines that you could use everynow and then?

I used to use the one at my school, that was next to the printers and the box of ' to be recycled' papers, so that I could just grab a stack of paper, turn them all clean side up and bind them for a quick scribble journal.

I have the same problem, having outgrown some tee-shirts, and I was planning on doing a tee-shirt scarf.

You can use squares with the design in the front, and the plain fabric as the backing, or use fleece for the back.

you could also tun a few into throw pillows, make drawstring bags to keep your shoes in ( I used them when I travel instead of plastic bags, to keep them separate if they're a bit dirty ) with one tee or a dirty laundry bag with multiple tees.
