that dining set/tabble runner is awesome~shame she hasn't posted though!  Thankfully Calixita has been awesome.

The surgery went great, but somehow I got an air pocket in my cheek so I'll have to wait and see if it actually starts hurting. No broken jaw, no other complications!

wow your generosity is amazing gotgrey, cheers!
I don't like flakers either.  my first ever swap was a flaker, and she flaked on the max amount of swaps she could, naughty naughty... so I wouldn't do that to anybody.  I was lucky to get an angel too that time, but it makes a difference that there is a large distance when most swappers are in other countries.  This is the largest swap I've been in, but totally fun and worth it!  Wink

They are amazing though!  Stensils are not cheating  Wink  Surgery I'm not really looking forward to but am looking forward to seeing the end of the pain.  It's given me nerve pain up my face and down my neck for some time.  However on the quiet, not as much as it could be.... wish I could see that rum bottle!
5  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: WWP Samhain Round 39 (SU 9-30 to 10-6, SO 10-27) on: October 25, 2012 06:46:26 AM
Thought I might call in and say Hi, and wow, hasn't there been a lot happening with you guys in this swap!
Maman-congrats, what number babe is this?
Wulf-so lucky I've not had the opportunity to go to a pagan festival as yet :/ hope you enjoy/enjoyed it Smiley
Selkie-That's tough !!  I know I've got mentally ill in my family, and really so many drs have NO clue!  I am wondering if diet has anything related to our issues, not just allergies but all that toxity in foods are sooo bad.  There is definate links with skitzophrenia and food - not that I know your situation at all, but you have my empathy and good will.
Wow and Betsy, we've not met in these swaps before, but a big congrats to you, please do share those photos, was it handfasting you did?  I've not been to one of those but plan to redo our commitment pagan style at some point!

I have had a lot happening, and very nearly bit off too much to chew in the 13 days of Halloween swap... I've got teeth surgery Monday, and as I've said before when I had a big thing to go through with my mother's terminal cancer. The treatment didn't do anything to arrest it's growth at all, so now it's just a matter of time.  I am pretty cool with it.  I just think she could have done things differently but it's always been her choice.  But looking forward to seeing what you all do ...

oh Laura you look fantastic in the crone's hat (even though your like 50 years too young for it lol).  Glad your loving everything, I am too!  Did you make the tree?  I am too scared to make one of those after I tried doing a different kind of metal thingy and I tore up my hands ooops!  Did you know I loved inchies lots?  probably !  I am still not sure what to do about the surgery, I might be in hospital overnight, probably only if they break my jaw or the swelling is too bad... If that's the case I'll have to ask my partner to show me what I get otherwise I will probably post when I feel up to it. Oh, and the sprites were indeed inspired by the Ghibli soot sprites, I did consider adding legs but I thought they were cute just as they were!

I love those potion labels, I was going to do that but I was going to put them on bottles and I thought, um glass?  might not make it fully intact and I'd hate shattered glass through the package...  there is so much goodness, but not everyone is posting?  Are they waiting until Halloween to share the love?

Reserved for Quasior's Gallery

Looks like I have 3 days to post, and a question to pose.  I have to have surgery on Monday with a chance of a broken jaw  Shocked do I open early or probably need to post late?  Anyways: Here is the wonderful pics of the lovely loot from Calixita - she puts my abilities to shame !!

Day 13

NOW this one is probably the one where the candy got loose all over the box, there was also reece pumpkin cups, which I won't get to try boo hoo (that's cool.) and rolos yummy American rolos - they taste different here!

Cute bags!  They crop up a lot!

Day 12

Day 12 - I hope I got this right, I may have mixed up 12/11 because I was naughty and opened them both today and although Laura kindly gave me an inventory, I'm not using it as to not spoil my surprise:

I love everything Laura, check out the talented beautiful dolls, my children said they were undead bride and groom Smiley  I'm happy to roll with that!!  The knitted/crochet eyeballs, fantastic!  I can't do that kind of thing !!
oh and the hoop and the web, there is just soo much awesomeness in that package!!!

Day 11

It's amazing, the detail in the banner, I either has incredible fine motor skills or it was a punch.  The crochet skulls are so cute!  I forgot to take a photo of the beautiful bat and full moon bunting, so I'll have to do that later (please remind me if I don't).  And a multitude of halloween deco's - I will have to organise a last minute party now (o crap I can't because of that dang surgery :/)  Maybe an early one on Saturday?

Day 10

By the way I absolutely love the coffin - did you make this?  Incredible!

OMG please forgive my crappy photography!  I think we were both inspired by the same muse for some of these items Laura, though you have done it better by far!  The kids will love those tatts!  The colouring, is that for food?  Glow-in-the-Dark nailpolish and a spooky mask for my spooky partner, thanks so much Smiley  Cannot wait to open more!!! Cheesy

Day 9

yum lollies green tea ones, and inchies, and I love inchies thanks so much

Day 8

some buttons and a mini tree thingy (i love these so much)

Day 7

Presents to share: we all got a T-Shirt each (and they all fit YAY thanks Laura  Wink ) only pictured here is the childrens, I'm not sure if Andrew is brave enough but we took a pic of just us two as well, might have to sneak it in somehow but its on his camera ...

Left to Right: Raven had a Release the Kraken! handpainted top; Dante has an scary Angler fish (just quietly they creep me out too  Wink ); Kai has a zombie Elephant, he's ellie mad; Labyrinth in purple has Jack from Nightmare before Xmas which is amazing; Monika in pink has a wonderful Halloween Tinkerbell which is not too creepy and more girly which is perfectly her.  She painted me a wonderful raven in front of a huge pentagram  Cheesy and Andrew's is a scary skull.  Very skilled at painting, they are wonderful and everybody loves theres, and I am soooo happy I fit mine, officially down to an XL  Embarrassed but  Grin moment!

Day 6

Cannot believe it's going so fast.  Yes, it's early but not too early here, it's ten to nine.
It's jewelry day and an altered jar!

My favourite is the Raven earrings, though I am loving everything!

10  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing Inchies Swap Round 3 - Discussion and Gallery on: August 02, 2012 09:00:12 PM
I got my inchies today from Sakaki!  It was a mixture of themes, but she's the only one brave enough to attempt the Day of the Dead and they are fabulous!!!

Lots of detail in there, and will fit in nicely with my rainbow project.  I'm going to have to count decide if I have enough to complete it yet, doubtful...

Thank you Elaine for another wonderful swap Smiley
