1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / cherry blossom necklace from duct tape roll on: April 12, 2012 09:40:24 PM
I found a duct tape roll with like an inch of tape left in my junk drawer and wanted to make something out of it for the spring cleaning challenge but couldn't think of anything till today. lol. It seems like all i make these days is jewelry so here we go, more jewelry!

2  CRAFTSTER CRAFT CHALLENGES / Craftster Craft Challenge Theme Ideas, Etc. / Button Challenge on: March 29, 2012 02:19:14 PM
I, like so many of us, have tons of buttons sitting around that need some attention. Maybe the challenge would be that you have to make something with at least 5 buttons. or however many.

It would be great to see what people could come up with, jewelry, 5 eyed plushies, button covered lamps, who knows?!
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / owl ring on: March 14, 2012 05:54:30 PM
so i got obsessed with making beaded rings after seeing some in a store. theirs were pretty unimaginative and probably made by child slaves so i decided to make my own, lol

i particularly like this one

4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / crocheted necklace with wood beads on: March 14, 2012 02:02:08 PM
I picked up some really cool fabric cord at the awesome crafty thrift store in my city and was trying to figure out what to do with it. I tried a couple things and settled on doing multiple crochet strands with some unfinished wood beads. I think it looks really fun! Smiley I am excited to make some more using different beads, maybe in different colors.

8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / swirl flower hat on: February 24, 2011 02:50:42 PM
i have been seeing really cool hats with this swirly flower on them and it looked sorta like a swirl thing on a crochet book i had. so i made a giant one and tried it out. it isnt as cool as the other swirly flowers but i like it. Smiley
the bump on the back is my ponytail, lol, the hat is a normal shape.

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / popular knit headband to crochet? on: December 06, 2010 12:49:38 PM
I keep seeing these around and they are sooo cute!

I dont want to do the technique where you increase from sc to dc to trc etc...
and I would like it to look similar with the rows of stitches being across the headband long-ways, lol

any ideas?
