I'm glad you like them Nilmerg, hope they go with your collection! Smiley

Kimchery, live at school has been quite stressful lately, so I keep your inchies in my office to cheer me up... Those dinos really do bring a smile to my face! Thank you so much for such a lovely set! Smiley

Love those snails, very pretty!

Should get pictures of MistressH's ATCs soon, just gave my parents a subtle (well, not quite...) reminder. Will hopefully have them tomorrow as I can't wait to finally see them!

Only popped into this thread to see some Christmas beauties, Lindy your package is amazing, I love the scarf, the bracelet, the teacup jewellery, and the baby clothes, the quilt... Such an awesome package! Hope you will still receive something just as gorgeous in return!

Have to admit I'm not a massive fan of nudity, but Imera, I LOVE that ATC! Can't stop looking at it.
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: December 2011 Birthday Swap - Join all month!!! on: December 14, 2011 12:33:10 AM
Happy birthday everyone! I'm Caroline and I'll be turning 23 on the 21st. I'm currently a primary school, kindergarten and nursery teacher in China, but my contract ends this month. After that, I'll be spending a month traveling round China.

I've got a degree in engineering geology from a UK university, and despite having to move back in with my parents in Holland when I go home, I can't wait to move back to England as soon as I possibly can. I'm still looking around for jobs, so who knows what the future holds!

So I'm a very easy person to craft for. There's not a lot I can think of that I wouldn't love to receive. I admire every skill, so feel free to use whatever crafts you know. There are no colours I dislike, but combos I particularly enjoy are green/blue/purple, yellow/grey, brown/turquoise, brown/pink. I love purple, electric blue and pink.

My main hobbies are reading, crafting, traveling and I love going to concerts or the theatre. I've always got music on, and I never leave the house without a sketch/note book and a good book. I haven't really got a definided style, I just wear/buy whatever I like, although I do tend to go for some more cutesy stuff. However, rock, vintage and Asian looking stuff is kinda my thing, too. If you're not sure about whether something may or may not be 'me', then feel free to drop me a message Smiley

Wishlist:

Crafted items:
*A small pouch that would fit my phone, passport and small coinpurse.
*A small coinpurse.
*A slouchy beanie.
*Resin cast jewellery: a chunky bangle would be cool, or a kawaii style ring or pendant (I love all the glittery, sprinkle-y ones).
*A tote for shopping.
*A scarf or necklace made from upcycled T-shirts. Something smart-casual would be perfect.
*A little stuffie or ami. Look at my pinterest or etsy favourites for ideas, or just PM me your idea... I'd post a full list but it's simply too long!
*A DIY crochet kit, I really want to get into this!
*Also, I'd love to learn how to sew properly, so a kit for a simple project would be great.
*A pair of feather earrings and a pair of matching studs (I have two piercings in each ear). <---- Thanks for claiming mintdawn Smiley
*A tea wallet.
*A mug rug.
*Handmade soap or anything else for a relaxing bath (I love floral scents, especially rose and lavender!)
*Handmade lipbalm.
*Handmade eyeshadow in funky colours.
*A headband or hairclip with an oversized bow.
*Something with a pink Dalek or Toadette (the pink mushroom girl from Nintendo). Could be anything you like!
*Fabric jewellery, maybe a scrappy cuff? <---- Again, thanks so much mintdawn!
*A record bowl, I love those! Or anything else made with upcycled records really.
*ATCs are always welcome!
*A birthday surprise... Anything you're good at and think I'd love.

Look here for inspiration and things I like:
*Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/carolinemaria
*Etsy favourites: http://www.etsy.com/people/madebych88/
*Also, if you'd like a list of themes, have a look at some of the ongoing ATC and inchie swap threads!

Supplies:
*Any beads, findings, charms, wire
*Buttons! I love them but I've barely got any!
*ATC blanks
*Decopatch stuff
*Resin casting supplies
*Papers
*Embellishments
*Baking supplies (cake decorations, cookie cutters, ...)

Extras:
*Something local to you, could be postcards, sweets, anything really.
*Tea / Hot Chocolate
*Recipes
*Old craft magazines

Thanks for taking a look at my list Smiley

8  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: December 2011 Birthday Discussion and Gallery on: December 13, 2011 03:22:55 AM
Ok, I've given in... Am about to send in my details!

Just for the record though, I won't actually be opening any birthday presents till January 29th... Imagine that, getting a birthday surprise over a month after your actual birthday. Guess that means I get to party twice, no?

(Actually, make that 3 times, 'cause I'm getting a birthday weekend in a couple of days time. No wait, 4 times, 'cause I'll be bringing a birthday cake to my Christmas party since my friends won't be able to come over on my birthday. So party four times, that'll do, right?)

I feel spoiled already  Grin
9  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: ONGOING ATC SWAP - DECEMBER 2011 - Claiming Now Open! on: December 13, 2011 02:48:00 AM
With the Spring Festival coming up, I claim mintdawn for her Lucky Cat theme.

3 claims / 0 sent / 0 received

Hi everyone! I'm Caroline, from the Netherlands, then moved to England, but am currently living in China. I'll soon be finishing my placement and will be celebrating by traveling across China for three weeks in January!

So now that I can receive ATCs at home rather than at a primary school, I have no restrictions, other than that I'm not a massive fan of gore, and I don't like nudity for the sake of it, but I don't mind it too much if it's tasteful.

Here is my updated list of themes:

- Forest animals
- Marine animals
- Elephants
- Fairytales
- Greek Mythology
- The Wizard of Oz
- Maps
- Geology
- Dinosaurs
- Disc World
- Sherlock Holmes
- England
- Paris
- Space
- Cocktails
- Fast food
- Cupcakes
- Your location
- Artist's Choice

Thanks in advance for claiming me!

Just wanted to say thanks to jillybeans, BrackishPotato and Mod35tBabe for posting pictures of the ATCs they sent me. The colour of jillybean's flower is stunning, Mod35tBabe's water card looks like a beautiful sea, yet has a very soft texture and BrackishPotato's Christmas cards are done in my favourite Christmas style. They are all gorgeous, thanks so much, all of you Smiley
