alrighty i've tried to "burn" my image onto a screen 3 times (10m, 15m and 30m) and each time it never works. nothing shows up and when i go to rinse it all the emulsion comes off. we let it dry overnight in a dark room, the emulsion never saw light until i turned on the bulb to start burning and i basically followed the instructions perfectly but it never worked. does anyone know how long the speed ball diaz emulsion stays good for? i just found it in the back of the closet at school ( i was never opened) but i have no idea how long it was sitting there for??? please help

i've decided to take up silkscreening and i'm not quite sure about the kind of image that i should be using. does the image have to be in "stencil form" (like that kind of image used for stenciling) or can i just grab any image off google and use it?

but i'm not sure how its going to turn out.
does anyone have any thoughts or comments on these types of things?

i was walking through walmart about a month ago and saw some fabric that i fell in love with! it looked like the fabric could have had a second life as curtains from the 70's. it was awesome. so i decided to make a skirt out of it. this was the result.


my hockey coach said that it was fetching. but i love it anyways

dear all,
i am in need of some crafty help. i am planning to make a shirt and stencil monty python's the ministy of silly walks on it. i want to do it in a line as if john cleese is walking along. ( i hope this is making sence so far... ) but i am not quite sure how to do it. should i stencil it around the middle? or at the bottom of the shirt?
i'd like it like this but in one line and not 2

any ideas??
