1  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Cinderella (Beaded Embroidery) on: August 01, 2014 08:32:02 AM
Hello everyone!

This took a few months to do. I'm quite pleased with the results of experimenting with other beads and sequins.

Thank you for looking!
2  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Christmas Candy Wreath on: December 22, 2012 08:31:37 AM
I used a Bucilla kit and I definitely tweaked some of the patterns and added more beading. I made it just in time to hang today on our door for Christmas. Smiley

Thanks for looking!
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Follow The Breadcrumbs on: September 10, 2012 01:58:31 PM
I have been slaving over this piece for three months now. Due to recurring migraines and shoddy health, it was only recently that I have finished it. This is heavily beaded and I am quite pleased at how it turned out.

Thanks for looking. I haven't decided what to work on next. I am torn between Aladdin, Snow Queen, and Briar Rose.

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Wooded (Digital Illustration) on: July 01, 2012 09:08:42 AM
I have been away from my embroidery because I have found a new groove with illustrating on the IPad. I got returned to my illustration roots. This piece is called Wooded. I used a wood grain background and did the illustration on top of that. I am currently working on a piece over a faux granite background.

5  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Lace and Her on: January 15, 2012 01:17:15 PM

This is a recent illustration I've done. I've used inks and copics on wood canvas. I haven't used copics before or done anything on wood canvas. I really loved getting into illustration again and it made me motivated to book some art time in between embroidery.

Thanks for looking!
6  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Personalized Hoops on: January 11, 2012 05:08:51 PM
These are hoops I've made for the children of my friends. They made for great birthday presents because they also reflected their kids' individual personalities.

Thanks for looking!

7  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz on: December 15, 2011 08:40:45 AM
I've finally finished Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. I am so pleased with how it turned out. The hoop is 13".

The last image is the bead mix I made for the Oz door detail. I'm going to be working on Hansel and Gretel next and Snow White concurrently.

Thank you very much for looking!
8  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Le Petit Prince on: December 09, 2011 02:44:38 PM

This is a Christmas gift I'm giving to a friend. She loves the Little Prince.

The quote in English is: Only children find what they are looking for.

Thanks for looking. Smiley

This is a recent piece that is inspired by the beautiful tale of Swan Lake.

I'm currently working on a Wizard of Oz piece next then Hansel and Gretel.
10  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Alice in Wonderland on: August 17, 2011 12:08:49 PM
This was my first project that got me into embroidery. This is now hanging in my little baby girl's room. It's is appliques and embroidery. I didn't get into beading until later. This is what got me into thinking about doing fairy tale based projects like Rococo Cinderella, Little Mermaid, and Little Red.
