Awesome work!  You did a great job on the anatomy/detail and the whimsical colorful background contrasts beautifully with the less chromatic poochie.

Do you have a photo of the real dog with its paws dyed like that?  I've never seen a dog with dyed paws before.

Here she is Smiley

Thank you!  Cheesy My sister loved it, she said she's going to hang it in her future grooming salon.

My sister has been begging me for years now to draw a picture of her dog, so I finally got around to doing it. I made it as a surprise for her the other night when I finally got some art inspiration back. Smiley

By the way she's a dog groomer, so she dyed Gracie's legs for Easter lol.

Your shading work is wonderful...I can almost feel the fabric!

Did you work from a picture?  I can't imagine a little baby sitting too long! Grin

Thanks!  Smiley and yes, definitely worked from a picture lol

Here's another drawing I did last week, I'm used to normal portraits so someone getting punched in the face was a nice change lol. Sorry the picture is so small.

Thanks, I actually just used crayola colored pencils lol. Usually I just use graphite and blend but I didn't do any blending in this one just a lot of layering. I didn't even know who it was until a few minutes ago when my dad guessed it and I had to Google it (haha), it's Harvey Keitel.

This was my first colored pencil-only realism drawing. My only reference was a black and white photo from a magazine ad, so I had to improvise his skin color.
