Awesome work!  You did a great job on the anatomy/detail and the whimsical colorful background contrasts beautifully with the less chromatic poochie.

Do you have a photo of the real dog with its paws dyed like that?  I've never seen a dog with dyed paws before.

Here she is Smiley

2  Puppy Portrait in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: April 30, 2016 08:43:42 AM
My sister has been begging me for years now to draw a picture of her dog, so I finally got around to doing it. I made it as a surprise for her the other night when I finally got some art inspiration back. Smiley

By the way she's a dog groomer, so she dyed Gracie's legs for Easter lol.

3  Boxing portrait in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: April 07, 2014 05:24:24 PM
Here's another drawing I did last week, I'm used to normal portraits so someone getting punched in the face was a nice change lol. Sorry the picture is so small.

5  This is what I did with my Saturday. in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: March 26, 2013 07:28:21 PM
This was my first colored pencil-only realism drawing. My only reference was a black and white photo from a magazine ad, so I had to improvise his skin color.

6  It's Glitter, It's Sequins! No....it's graphite. in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: October 08, 2012 10:04:10 AM
Textural drawing all done in graphite. The front object is a glittery foam letter from my roommate's door, on the right is a Coach shoe covered in sequins, and behind is a pencil holder fabulously bedazzled with pink ribbon and rhinestones.

8  Japanese Lily Blossom in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: August 13, 2012 09:22:18 PM
I drew this today for a friend of mine who asked me to draw a tattoo for her. The lily symbolizes her Grandma and the cherry blossoms will drape down each side of a Japanese tattoo she already has on the side of her torso.

9  Cosmopolitan in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by made4music2 on: August 13, 2012 09:14:34 PM
Free-hand pencil drawing of a model in a perfume (?) ad from one of my old Cosmo magazines.

By the way, this is still a work in progress. It's like 93% done right now, with more shading and edge straightening to go.
