11  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: looking for heart shaped O-Rings like these on: July 11, 2013 09:19:41 PM
She buys those rings from a Chinese website that has tons of shops called Taobao. But since it has thousands of shops, no one can find them. I'm asking some people that use taobao a lot to see if they've found the shop that sells them. Since the shop's in Chinese, it's sometimes hard to figure out the right keywords to search for things. And someone told me that Creepyyeha just found them on accident when she was looking for a good deal on regular O-rings. I'm not sure if that's true or not.
I'll let you know.
12  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Where can I get pastel colored or glitter acrylic for laser cutting? on: July 11, 2013 08:45:52 PM
I've recently been allowed to use a laser cutting machine. I want to make rings for myself and friends. One thing I really want to use are opaque pastel colors in the designs, or maybe glittered ones.
The only things I can find to order in reasonable quantities in pastels is pink, and these glitter colors: https://www.inventables.com/categories/materials/acrylic?utf8=%E2%9C%93&selected_filters%5BEffect%5D%5B%5D=Glitter but I was hoping to find a light pink or a sparkly black.
If you guys have any ideas, please let me know. I thought of a possible work-around. I think I could take some nail polish and paint it on the back side of clear acrylic and use that. Then the color and sparkles would shine through. I'd rather get pieces that were the right color to start with, though. Thanks for your help!

14  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / What is this Japanese sweet? on: February 09, 2012 08:39:59 AM

I've had it one time in high school. I don't really remember what it tasted like. Does anyone know what it's called? Is it a type of mochi? I think I didn't think it was very sweet back then, but my tastes have changed now and I want to try to make some.

18  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: OTT Anime/Manga swap Gallery on: January 31, 2012 04:09:46 PM
WhimsicallyObsessed totally spoiled me in this swap. She sent me a jewelry set and an ornament from my favorite anime, Madoka Magica.

The images are from a dramatic scene, but it's a scene that looks like the characters are about to kiss, too xD She drew them herself! They look much better in real life. I couldn't get a picture where the charms weren't obscured by the flash.

Thanks so much!

Also, love the Mami doll.

Sorry I took a long time uploading these from Nilmerg. Not because I didn't like them! I couldn't get my camera to take a very good picture of them.

They're so cute! I especially like the bug eyes Cheesy Now I just have to frame them!
Thanks Nilmerg. Sorry the first set got lost in the mail.

I sent mine out yesterday~! It's been done for a week, but... finding a box was probably harder than the craft inside, haha!  Wink

I couldn't find a box either! I ended up making one from a cracker box. I don't recommend doing that. It took forever, lol.
