I found that if you put random question that involve your product you will find more and more people. I usually ask questions like "What diaper is your little one wearing right now?" and I get a couple more responses each time.
As for other type of "likers" I don't have any major ideas, I guess just word of mouth.

I suggest you zig zag the edges real tight. That will stop any fraying that may happen.
