1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Yohji Yamamoto Jacket from free pattern on: September 05, 2005 05:41:37 AM
Wow, all your jackets look fantastic! Mum & I are now going to have to draw straws to see who gets to use our shared sewing machine first (well, after we've worked out how to get the pattern printed, that is!). A question about fabric though- everyone seems to have used really different types, and they all look great in the pics, but how are they to wear? Would a stiffer fabric bunch up in the under-sleeve bits? (What would you call that, anyway?) Just wondering what others have discovered...  Smiley
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: TUTORIAL: My First Ipod Mini Case >> with windows! on: August 21, 2005 11:02:24 PM
That's brilliant! I have a half made case for my mini, but I got so frustrated trying to work it out it's just been sitting there for the last fortnight. Now I can follow your wonderful turorial and get exactly what I wanted! Smiley Thankyou!
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: my big warm fuzzy green scarf on: August 21, 2005 09:48:09 PM
I love anything green, and am obsessed with scarves, but that really is so gorgeous. I live in a cold place too (Tasmania, Australia) but unfortunately my (lack of) knitting/crochet skills means it'd probably take me until next winter to finish even a scarf! Cheesy Nonetheless, you've inspired me to try!
4  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Shopping tip if you are Tassie on: June 15, 2005 09:25:17 PM
One more Tassie here too...new here even. Smiley And another who loves that shop...I have a couple beautiful pieces of fabric from there (also out of my price range, but irresistible!), I've had them for probably over a year but I'm too scared to use them b/c they're so gorgeous! I was just wondering the other day if the shop was still there, so I guess that solves that!
