   What exactly is amigurumi? Most definitions that I've found seem to indicate that it's just a crocheted or knitted stuffed animal.
   Is that all there is to it or are there size and stich requirements etc?

   I've taken a few years of Japanese class, so I thought I might be able to help if you're still interested. 

   I'm also rather interested in looking at the patterns themselves. I haven't seen any Japanese crafting books before so I'm curious about the differences in patters and layouts etc.

I'd appreciate you letting me take a look, even if you don't need any more translation help.
