Hi all. This is my first post after a long time as a voyeur of all your amazing post.
Recently I asked my mum if she had any brooches I could have. She gave me quite a few some of which belonged to my grandmother. I also got some of her clip on earrings too. I had bought a couple of frames for 50p at a local charity shop and decided that it would be really nice to frame the jewelry so it was on show rather than in a box somewhere. I removed the glass from the frames (the large one had the glass missing anyway ), spray painted the small one to freshen it up and then covered the cardboard with fabric. I then made a hole in the large one for the brooch and hot glued a pair of the earrings to the smaller one. I am so pleased with them and it is so lovely to have them on display.
