I lost my SEW U book but want to make the collared shirt. So I am left with the pattern and no directions to make it. I would be so so so grateful if someone could photograph or scan the directions for the shirts...but I don't know about copyright infringements. If anyone is willing to do this for me please send me the directions in a PM.
Thanks so much, Jaci
P.S. Mods - feel free to remove this if it is against policy.
I need to make a short film for my art history class comparing and contrasting Degas, Manet, Monet, and Renoir...with a theme. Pirates, wild west, Real World, dating game are all taken. I'm thinking maybe a cooking show, or a beauty pageant? Please help me think of more ideas!
Thanks Rostitchery! I made this diagram of my dress for an interview for an apprenticeship at the Fabric Workshop in Philadelphia. My only modification was that I did not include the waistband. "Above the bust", "under the bust", and "at the waist" refers to where the skirt sits. The dress is worn backwards in the "above the bust" styles.
*EDIT - I just noticed how grainy the image turned out...the fabric is navy with white and red splotches...these photos don't really show much detail.
I want to make 2 tutus for my little sisters - one is 2 and the other is 5. I found a whole bolt of pink tulle and bought elastic...should I just make a basic circle skirt with an elastic waistband to make it poof? Should I encase the elastic in the tulle or just sew it underneath the tulle?
