11  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Short Film about Impressionists on: January 29, 2007 10:36:15 AM
I need to make a short film for my art history class comparing and contrasting Degas, Manet, Monet, and Renoir...with a theme. Pirates, wild west, Real World, dating game are all taken. I'm thinking maybe a cooking show, or a beauty pageant? Please help me think of more ideas!

Thanks in advance  Wink

13  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Show off your hair! And questions about hair styles! on: January 04, 2007 11:23:09 AM
I used to shave the sides of mine to 1/2", then decided to let it grow out a bit for my little brother's bar mitzvah and various family events. during that time it was kind of tough to get the sides to stay slicked back - they were at that stage where they were neither long nor short. just yesterday i decided i have no important events coming up and no need to look very acceptable, so i buzzed the sides to 1/4". I hate growing out the sides, so I'm planning on growing the middle out pretty long so i can have a nice swoop bang and let the rest fall to the side. sounds ugly, but i think it looks nice on some people.

and if you're going to get any type of mohawk, do it soon before you chicken out! it's a lot of fun to have.

pictures of my hair at http://www.myspace.com/jacik...hope it helps!

thanks kidkoala!
kcfirecracker, would you mind posting some pictures? Also, I've heard that dying your hair brown after you've bleached it can make it fall out. Is this true?

I want to dye my hair...at first I was thinking I wanted to go blonde, but that wouldn't match my eyebrows and I would probably look like a crazy. Should I go darker then? I feel like my hair is dusty looking.

and here i have tin foil bling on my choppers

please let me know what you think...

it's not ugly - that fabric is so sweettttttttttttt

i just think it would look better without the hearts, maybe with a big pocket in front.

Mine was looking a bit Don King-ish, so I tried thinning it out and making it less boxy. I can wear it pushed to the middle like a little baby mohawk or brushed to the side.

to the side... + my family

in the middle...still goes to the side a little bit bc of my cowlick

That looks really great. Any chance of posting a brief tutorial? I really like the stitching and hem details on the front.
