1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: A Green Idea Chain Game 2010 on: August 24, 2011 12:46:32 AM
Love this!  With black bird feathers, try attaching them to hair clips with beads or bows for awesome hair accessories or using jewelry wire to attach them to earring hooks and make super cute feather earrings (which are very popular at the moment).

What can I make with plastic six pack holders?  (you know, the ones you are supposed to cut before throwing away so the seaturtles don't die)

Grin SO awesome!  You might try hot glue or super glue to attach a piece of fabric or felt to the bottom (to cover the hole). Did you have any issues with hand sewing through the rubber?  I will have to make this!

Love em!  I also get bored watching movies, etc and usually try to find something to keep me busy.  You used polymer clay?

Earrings are a great idea.  You could even decoupage another image over the puzzle front. Also, try a quick google search, the answer ideas were actually pretty awesome! http://familycrafts.about.com/od/puzzlegamepiececrafts/tp/PuzzlePieceCrafts.htm
10  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Cool Wine Bottle collection. HELP! on: August 23, 2011 11:17:17 PM
There are a ton of options, but I guess it depends upon how much you want to preserve the bottles.  (It sounds like you do)  If not, you could paint or collage the bottles and give them as gifts, or cut off the necks to work as guitar slides.  To preserve the beauty of the bottles, try making them into lamps with lamp hardware or drill a hole and put christmas lights inside (very pretty).  If you are cool with cutting, try cutting off the tops and making candle holders or even small planters.
