Happy New Year everyone!  I know its half way through January already, but I seem to be behind alot already.  I popped over to Craftster to see what everyone's been doing and to show my first FO of 2009! It's a shawl/cowl thing that you can wear over your shoulders or front and back as a vest/tabard thingie.  (I'm so articulate today)  Grin

Happy New Year everyone, I'm still here just busy. I have had a new pattern just released with One Planet Yarn and Fiber, so I though I'd share. Its a lace camisole made with some of the yummiest cashmere I have ever encountered. Here's a peek at the Cami:

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Call for submissions for a New Book on: March 21, 2006 10:17:13 AM
Hi all, below is a snip from an email Lark books, they are putting out a new book and are looking for lets unusual submissions.  I think this book is going to be a hoot.  This is just a snip from the email I received, I didn't want to put the full email on the board.  I'm sure Terry would be willing to email you the rest of the info.  I have seen some designs here that would sure make this book.  Good luck all.

Kooky Crochet

This is NOT your same old crochet stuff. Well, some of it issort ofbut
with a new attitude. Some oddball materialsjelly yarn, suede lacing, fabric
strips, even wirethrown in for good measure. And wearables that anyone with a sense of adventure and humor will wear out in public!

We brainstormed some ideas while we defined the concept for the book. Now, whether or not they're suitable for crochet is another question, but I hope they pique your creativity machines.

Using graphic images is a welcome idea!

Sketches, swatches, and yarn samples due to me by April 15th, 2006.
