11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / BELTS BELTS BELTS- Image heavy on: April 10, 2005 07:53:36 PM
I've been going a little crazy making belts. The first three are made out of duct tape, electrical tape, and/or Tootsie Roll wrappers and they're all reversible. The last is just an old web belt I had that I never really wore with an audio casset tape hot glued on the buckle.

Here's the Caution Duct Tape Belt:
Instead of d-rings, because I was out, I actually used those metal index card holder rings- that you get from Staples.

13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / What do army men and china dolls have in common? on: April 10, 2005 03:22:40 PM
They both make cool earrings. I love these earrings, esp. the army man one. My friends hate them, but that kind of gives me even more pleasure in wearing them.

14  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / FIRST POST- two t-shirts recon on: April 10, 2005 03:08:08 PM
Well, I'm new and I don't really know how to write these things. Hi. I don't have any witty statements...so here are a couple of reconstructed t-shirts I've done in the past.

The first I made out of a Goodwill find, in the kid's section. I love the little fish on it, he reminds me of Flounder from The Little Mermaid.

The second I made out of what used to be my old b-ball shirt. Our school is very poor, so they were just t-shirts and we looked like soccer players in them. The boys uniforms were the same and one year a friend of mine for Halloween wore his uniform with shin guards-- he was a soccer player- yeah, I'm done rambling. But it was funny.
