Carol, I seem to remember a comment you made several rounds back about giving a block a little tug to make seams come together correctly.  Wink I hearby steal your title as "Queen of Tug" and claim it as my own. A little tug or trim will work just fine to fit my new blocks together. When added to the blocks from last round, I'm beginning to see a absolutely adorable storytelling quilt coming out of everyone's contributions. That house may need to be the centerpiece around which the rest of the story develops. It makes me very happy just to think of the possibilities. Thank you so very much for your hard work!

Like how you incorporated sections of the cds into your critter's fur. Aardvaark? Cute in any case.

Love all of Onyxnox's cards, but especially the tiger, the blue gingham, and the angel wings cards. Still think the ones I got are the absolute best though!  Grin

Kookaloo, you must be every neighbor's favorite person with all the acts of kindness you do for them. I'm sure that little girl was thrilled to receive a shopping bag that's all her own.

That1girl, do you ever sleep? Seems you're crafting 24-7, not that that's a bad thing, of course.  Wink Every time I see your new mats I think about making some for our camper, but haven't done it yet, so keep reminding me by posting new ones.  Grin Did you crochet the pineapple doily also? It's gorgeous!

Crazyda, I've never heard of Peppa Pig, but he seems to be a favorite with your nephew and just a perfect size for hugging. Looks like your nephew is a perfect size for hugging, too! Is the Ronald McDonald quilt block project specific to your community or is it a more wide-spread project?

Today I bought some tools at the scrapbook convention that I plan to use on Quaggy's gifts. And the fun part? These items for her will contain little or no paper. Love repurposing supplies and tools.  Cheesy

Going to a scrapbooking convention tomorrow, so hope to pick up a certain supply there. Picked some up at a scrapbooking convention in Arlington, Texas earlier this summer, but don't have enough for what I'd like to do.

You have caught my interest!   I love scrapbook supplies, papers and all things that they become!
Ha! Technically what I'm shopping for isn't going to be used for any kind of papercrafting, but for something else I rarely do. Don't you hate obscure hints from your partner?!

Wow, Mio! Each time you post a new afghan I say that it's my favorite, so I hate to be repetitive but I absolutely adore the newest one! you just keep getting more and more impressive.

Little Man sounds like a hoot. Lucky to have you in his life making him feel so special.

And I agree with everyone else. I like the harp in the center much better than off to the side as it was originally.

I love it, Carol, especially the yellow smiley face fabric! That certainly nails my propensity for using smiley icons.

I just bought a few small pieces of fabric this evening. I needed some more variety for Emisaurus's blocks so picked up two fat quarters. Then, except for the black, I didn't have solids or fabrics that read as solid for Homerof2, so I picked up a half yard of each of those as well. OK, I know 1/4 yard of each would have been plenty, but you can't buy just 1/4 yard, can you? Grin

Most of the blocks have been cut out now, so should start sewing next week. Going to a scrapbook convention tomorrow, so know I'll be playing with paper the rest of this weekend.  Grin Grin

Your cousin's daughter may not be old enough now to understand just how very special a gift her quilt is, but as she gets older and hears its history, I'm sure she'll love it even more. Lucky girl!
