Hey, i've posted jewellery projects on crafster several times, but its generally silly stuff i make for myself. My 'real' jewellery never has time to be photographed and it's just kitschy vintage stuff that i think is fun, but not earth shatteringly brilliant. I sell in a well known boutique in my city and recently myself and another girl who sells there have been approached by a very large companys buyer. My question to you lovely people is should i even consider talking to them or should i keep well clear, i've heard so many horror stories of indie designers being ripped off. sorry if i'm rambling on...any help would be great
so this is a small thing, but any way. I lose bills and receipts all the time so i made a rock n roll clip to keep them safe. basicly its a poker chip with a whole load of plastic joy E6000ed on. the clip was just a huge paperclip.
So you may have seen lady luck rules ok's 'twiggy stardust' necklace, these brooches are my homage with added 80's hair do's and artificialy enhanced lips ! I have no idea what to do with them but i'll wear them with pride for a while, i also feel they should have names, any suggestions ?
ok it's not quite killing me but it's hit my jewellery business. The post office union in my city Belfast (in the UK) has gone on an unofficial strike and none of my items are moving anywhere, i've a mounting pile of orders to honour and i'm thinking of shutting down my ebay shop for a while but this would suck as i'm trying to build it up. I've contacted everyone who has yet to receive there stuff but i feel really guilty anyway. So should i keep it going and just put up a clear warning that it will take time for things to get there or is the honourable thing to shut ? anyone got suggestions ?
