Thank you so much for posting this! I too have been a victim of the new Walmart shelves (and YES they we're better), and you gave me ideas. Awesome!

You know, I seem to do that to my hub-sand every time we play L4D. I take comfort that I'm not alone in the world.
5  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Tissue Flowers - Please help! on: January 07, 2009 01:37:56 PM
Believe it or not, I made those same paper flowers for my wedding. I took a bunch of sticks, put a "stick ball" (it's a circular shape made out of sticks) on top, and wrapped the wire from the flowers around the ball and made a topiary out of it.

I think they would also look really cute with those "feelers" in the middle. I don't know what they're called, but they look like a tiny pearl on the end of a wire. Not super long feelers, just enough to "peek-a-boo".

9  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: A new Christmas tradition! on: January 04, 2009 02:42:30 PM
Amazing snowflake! I love how it displays the best part of the tree without the hassle of one! I soooo should have thought of that for our cats. I'm tired of cleaning up kitty puke with pine needles in it....

I love the little hand prints under there! Are you planning on updating them every year?
