Thanks to both of you!

So my grandparents bought me some storage boxes to go with the my new shelves (which they also bought) to help organize my college apartment. I wasn't a fan of the boxes, but my grandma was a fan of the cheap price: around $4 each. Since she's a crafter herself she told me to stop complaining about it and fix it. I happen to have a lot of free time at college so that's exactly what I did.

Here's what the boxes looked like when we first bought them  (from Big Lots by the way).

I am NOT a fan of zebra print nor this scribble zebra print.

For the first box I used ribbon, stickers, a black sharpie, hot glue and three ceramic hello kitty faces that I broke off old shower curtain holders.

For the second box I used ribbon, stickers, a red sharpie and hot glue of course.

And here they are on the shelf!! I'm a SLIGHT hello kitty fan if you can't tell.

The clips are normal snap clips with holes in the ends like these :http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A0PDoX2WLRtPKSUAQU2JzbkF;_ylu=X3oDMTA3cnMybzJvBHNsawNpbWc-?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dhair%2Bclips%26fr%3Dslv8-msgr%26fr2%3Dpiv-web%26tab%3Dorganic%26ri%3D154&w=1333&h=1000&imgurl=imgs.tootoo.com%2F6f%2Fbe%2F6fbe9ea23219c90a2d3bdfbeacffafd7.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tootoo.com%2Fbuy-long_hair_clip%2F&size=74+KB&name=Long+Hair+Clip%2C+Buy+Long+Hair+Clip&p=hair+clips&oid=ec8de295a7c809f0395ae8b833f94122&fr2=piv-web&fr=slv8-msgr&tt=Long%2BHair%2BClip%252C%2BBuy%2BLong%2BHair%2BClip&b=151&ni=160&no=154&tab=organic&ts=&sigr=119akbep4&sigb=1351oderf&sigi=11q6ks9a5&.crumb=/vtomLI0qQE

And I used hot glue and then I also sewed them using the holes in the clips.

Me and a friend went to a convention in Canada and this was my costume!

It was based off my character Skwiggles.

The ears are made of foam, duct tape, furry fabric, and hot glue. They are on a head band.
The tail is on a peice of elastic.

So me and my friend went to a convention of sorts(IN CANADA) that called for ears and tails. These are her's.

They were based off this picture (please excuse the jerky lines) I drew of her character named Alouette.

And here it is in real life!

The ears are made of foam, duct tape, floral wire, furry fabric, and hot glue. They're on a head band.
