1  Re: Sanrio/Japanese Cuteness in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by apandalee on: July 24, 2006 11:16:33 PM
Thanks Sera_Angel for all the cute stuff, and for posting pics! I really love everything. The shirt fits perfectly, you didn't have to worry at all. The stationary really does look professional, did you print it on your printer or do you have like a goco? Anyways its beautiful, here are some action pics as promised:

The shirt is so cute, and it fits!

Some closeups of the little keychains that were in the package

I'm so glad you liked it amanelle! I'm sorry I didn't get more pics of your pony, my batteries died before I received and I can't find the charger. Here are some more pics of Black Magic though so you can see the detail:

She has a beaded necklace with matching beaded tail ribbon, and a glittery painted star bracelet to match her glittery star symbol. I forgot to take a before picture, but she was pink with rainbow hair, I died her black with RIT and changed the hair.

I received my package today!! My secret stalker was.....APANDALEEE!! She did a great job stalking me! Here is a pic of what she sent:

I like French Toile and am decorating my bathroom in French style so she sent a black french toile memo board, a black candleholder, a homemade sachet that smell wonderful,  some french toile mosaic peices and she also sent a mini card making set.

Thank you so much apandalee!! I love everything!!  Grin

I'm so glad you liked everything, I was a little nervous because I was planning to make you a little Audrey Hepburn wall hanging, but I messed it up.! I also had a little bit of a hard time with the memo board, mostly just figuring out how to make the back look nice. It was kind of hard to send off  Wink You totally inspired me with your style, so that when I grow up I want a black and white toile accented room hehe.

I got my package from apandalee a few days ago, but my husband had comandeered the camera for something at work. It is a really cool purple necklace and zippered pouch. Great work! Thanks so much, apandalee, I love them both!

The whole package:

The necklace:

The pouch:

I can't see the pics, but I am so glad you liked them! The purple yarn came from another unconditional swapper, so it was cool how the crafty karma kind of circulated  Smiley

7  Rasta-ish Headline News and a question in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by apandalee on: February 04, 2006 03:21:50 PM
I finished my headlines news cap yesterday. I am so happy with it, it was my first time doing cables, second time making a hat (the first was an easy lionbrand pattern and it came out kind of bad), and I think this is the coolest thing I've ever knit. Most stuff I knit its like oh cool you made that huh but my one friend actually thought I bought this! Yay! Ok sorry for the bragging I'm just super hyped. Here are pics:

I did the modifications to make it more rasta, adding an extra pannel and not using plastic mesh. Sorry for the dark and fuzzy pics.

I also have a question: I have a small ball of left over yarn, (see pics below) and am wondering what kind of matching accessory to make? Any ideas?

Yay finally posting pictures. Sorry so late, I lost my cable thingy for a lot time. This is the lovely scarf starpiste sent me. It just so happened that the day I got it I was wearing a shirt that it matched perfectly. I wear it all the time now with everything but these are the pics I took the first day with the matching shirt  Smiley

Here's what I sent:

It's hard to see in the pics but its made from LionBrand Homespun with rows where recycled silk sari yarn is stranded with the homespun.
