1  Re: Christmas/Winter Ninni Swap GALLERY: send out by 12/7 in The Swap Gallery by mckaboolaurox on: December 17, 2011 04:28:51 PM
Wow! Just got my package from Bunnie Boo and I love it! I feel like I should've given you more hahah

First Comes the Ninni's which I had to post a size comparison they're so small! ^_^

Then all of the extra's a tin of chocolate (Which is as of now, delicious and almost gone) and the most adorable magnet ever!

Then a nifty tissue holder which will be well loved by the time winter in Minnesota's over, a notebook with a little drawing of a ninni inside(I'll have to post a picture of that when I have time) and then a new keychain... with an elephant! Which I will probably give to my friend, if that's okay Smiley

and then finally in conclusion to my pictures, my ninni's have made it onto the bookshelf of stuffed things

2  Painted Beach Shoes in Shoes: Completed Projects by mckaboolaurox on: October 16, 2011 06:31:08 PM
These are painted beach shoes my little sister requested
(more demanded as she's 7 Tongue ) and I thought I'd give it a shot as I've never painted shoes before. Just like painting canvas right?  So here is how they turned out-

What do you think? My sister adores them Smiley
And I'll post better pictures soon, this is with my cheapo one so the image is really pixelated? I guess is the best word to use

3  Hooded Cloaks (Image overload) in Costumes: Completed Projects by mckaboolaurox on: June 14, 2011 02:23:40 PM
Sorry if it's awkwardly set up, it's my first time posting
My friends and I are planning on dressing up to the renaissance festival and what costume would be complete with out cloaks? Sorry there is an overload of pictures *blush*
My friend as seen below is planning on going to ren fest as a higher ranked citizen so we decided to use a brown velveteen material I had lying around for her cloak (We did hem it up more when it was no longer 2 in the mornin')
*Also, we are much older than we look hahah well maybe 2-3 years or so
My Friend trying on a cloak I made
Back and hood(up)
Stitching around hood- for where cloak and hood meet (casing with elastic)
Inside of cloak
This is now me in another cloak I made for another friend, She is planning on going as a pirate-y costume and decided she wanted a rougher looking cloak (no bottom hem, rougher sewing job, We are planning on wearing it out a bit)
Side View

Perfect for all you hobbits, Elves, People receiving gifts from elves, and all those of you with cloak fetishes (Hey Cloaks are cool, bow ties are too Wink )
WARNING! This cloak may make you want to travel to mount doom also causing you to feel the need to throw your precious items into a fiery pit of doom (hence mount doom)
