In January is my prom and as a craftsteromaniac I decided to sew something by myself. So, I started thinking, more and more, and I imagined this:




But I don't know how to sew bra and corset part ( thanks god I know how to make a skirt...)
I'm thinking about some tough fabric for the top of dress and georgette for the bottom, what do you think?
 
I have just a little time for making this project so I'm begging you!

HOW TO SEW that 'mermaid' thing?

I bought some time ago some eco-leather in dark red colour ( I'd already knew that it would be for this bag!). Unfortunately, I didn't have time so it had to wait... but mission is accomplished now, and I'm so happy because of new bag in my wardrobe : ))

I've got this chair since I was 7 (It was a present for first year in primary school). Years has pasted and my desk chair lost its charm. I decided- REINCARNATION must be. So here's a result ; )

On this week 'to-do list' I've had <make a refashion>. My friend's 18th birthday party was yesterday, so I decided to make something new for this occasion ; ) and here it is ! I wanted to share with my idea for old skirt so below I added a link to tutorial.

AAAhhh! It's so cute ; ) The idea for a design arrived into my head when I was at my granny's. She lives on countryside, near forest, and everything there looks like from old good times. It inspired me to impose old style to new fashion bag. What do you think?

I was making some cleanups in my wardrobe and have noticed how many things I do not wear. I've found skirt (below) which was last worn 4 years ago. My sewing machine was just waiting for it...


 
It's great how out-of-fashion skirt can be still nice but as a dress !

Last weekend I was doing general cleanup in my bathroom and I discovered how many things are out of date or just empty. While putting them into a bin I heard an ad about recycling and environment. Then I stopped, looked at things that I had in my hands and wondered: 'maybe I can do something with it?'




Recycled used up cream box ; ) I don't know if I put the topic in correct category - sorry for that. I hope You like it !

You'll need:
- glue gun
- white acrylic paint
- red and yellow dye (you can use, instead of them, another paint)
- 2 brushes - thin and wide
- old nail polishes
- piece of lace
- used up cream box

It's an interesting task so I decided to make something. First, I asked myself: what skills do I have? Knitting, sewing... It wasn't enough. Then I glanced behind my window and saw flowers... meadow, old wood, fields. It reminded me about my folk adventure and aunt who is an expert (for me) in découpage - and my idea for mixed media appeared in my mind.

How to save the beauty of summer nature in small thing?

It was funny to make it and look really good with summer dresses! ; )

I love Russian folk, maybe because is similar to mine ; ) I think that matrioshka is adorable, so I sew that envelope-styled clutch. In 2 days I will post a tutorial on my blog, but now I'm too tired (It's 23:39 in my time and my eyes are closing down ! +___+ ) Some photos!   R&R!

On Sunday was my friend's 18th birthday. In my country is very important date, 'cause while you are 18 you are allowed to do anything, treated like an adult. It was for me some kind of challenge - I didn't know if she would like it or not, and if I manage to do this. Now, I'm proud of myself and here's a result of my work!
