12  Hand Warming Muff Tutorial Link in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by JamieS on: January 19, 2012 08:55:31 AM
Hi All!  I just finished up this Hand-Warming Muff for my little one!  It was so easy to make, I have actually made two now.  One in pink faux fur and the other from an old sweater in my recycle pile.

If you would like to make one too, here is the link to the tutorial:

13  Dropped-Waist Knit Dress Tutorial Link with 5t pattern pieces in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by JamieS on: November 30, 2011 11:52:51 AM
Hi everyone!  I recently finished a new tutorial for a knit dress that I wanted to share.  My daughter wears a 4/5, and I  uploaded the pattern pieces to google documents for printing.  If that is what your little princess wears, then you are in luck.  If not, you can still follow the tutorial to make your own pattern.

the link to the full tutorial pattern pieces is here:

15  Upcycled Patchwork Shorts in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by JamieS on: July 26, 2011 04:27:48 PM
I just finished these knit shorts made from recycled t-shirts for my son.

I have been wanting to make these since I finished this Patchwork Tunic Top for my daughter: http://scatteredthoughtsofasahm.blogspot.com/2011/06/patchwork-tunic-top.html
But, it was another one of those projects that keeps getting moved down the ladder by other projects...

I basically just cut up and pieced together some of his old outgrown t-shirts into 4 inch squares to make the fabric and then used McCall's 5419 to sew them up...

I blogged about it here: http://scatteredthoughtsofasahm.blogspot.com/2011/07/upcycled-patchwork-shorts.html

I finished this cover-up last week and have worn it several times already.  I love it!  It is McCall's 5855.  If you are looking for a flattering pattern, this is it!

I blogged about it here:
